    Yes, we got a cert telling us where our tree is planted…mine is in gifted's neck of the woods

    Lads the wind and rain here today is worse than some named storms..really bad and hasn't stopped all day.

    Did a lovely 7km walk this morning as the weather is beautiful, no clouds and not missiles, so just perfect.

    Mornin’ everyone. Talk about the calm after the storm over here, it’s a beautiful day down here. Just after making myself a cup of coffee, and then it’s on to do the chores.

    Also, heading to choir practice tonight for the first time in well over a decade. It’s a gospel choir, so I’ll have to see how it goes, but I’m excited 🤩

    Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

    I feel your pain, literally! When I had my accident in Munich a few years back, it took me four days just to be able to roll over in bed without screaming. Take any painkillers they offer, and don't try to rush things.

    On the bus into town for my choir practice. And I have a working phone again 😃😃

    Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

    Waiting room at the Mater hospital eye clinic, waiting to be called in for my post-surgery eye test.

    Rather anxious but hopeful. 🫰🤞🫰

    Sofaside, chilling.

    Got pretty good news at my post-surgery follow up eye tests this morning - the retina has fully re-attached but vision in my left eye will take many more months before it can be deemed functional in terms of reading and I will need new glasses in the early summer. Still have to use one eye to read which is a pain - but there is hope going forward.

    Lovely sunny day today with a real Spring vibe.

    @thomil - plenty of rest and warm drinks!

    Taking it easy here, loads of tea being consumed, along with copious amounts of coffee earlier in the day. The fact that I still enjoy coffee tells me it isn't too bad…

    *(Yeah, bit of an odd one at that. During the 1801 Battle of Copenhagen, Admiral Nelson put his telescope to his blind eye in order to be able to ignore a flag signal to withdraw that had been made his superior, Admiral Hyde-Parker. That's what popularised the phrase "to turn a blind eye")

    4am and a workday for me, will get to see the pyramids and big ben but it will be an 8 hour slog to get there. 26 hours of rest and then back.

    Homeside here, feeling like an eldritch deity used me as chewing gum. But I've stocked up on all essentials, got plenty of Strepsils, Lemsip, and tissues, so all good over here.
