It’s fascinating ain’t it that those Iranians who are free to protest without fear of being murdered by snipers or deliberately blinded choose to fly the American and old Iranian flags

Just shows how repressive the religious regime of the clerics is

    not anytime soon

You assume the market place has any clue; look at what happened with the invasion dates on prediction markets. A few new accounts made over a million dollar on guessing the exact date of the attack shortly before it happened because the dates was seen as so high odds. The prediction market is clueless and only a way for people with inside information do inside trading in an easier way; the odds are meaningless in general.

What evidence do you have that they were or are producing nuclear weapons? Trust me bro isn't evidence.

I don't think anyone is advocating on behalf of the Iranian regime. And ignoring your attempt to focus on the religion indeed rather than the regime itself.

But that doesn't justify what is happening or what is the motivation of Trump and particularly Netanyahu.

Last night in the US, someone shot up a bar and 15 people were injured, 3 killed. Say we hear later that one of those killed was a drug dealer/murderer/wife beater/rapist, that still doesn't justify the act of shooting up the bar.

Right wingers in the US and UK are doing the same thing as you here and tweeting at Left wingers and/or Muslims offering faux/jeering sympathy for the death of Khamenei when the people they are messaging had no time for him, or the regime.

Justifying any or all of the US and Israel action should not be done by anyone without acknowledging all the pain/death/harm and suffering that will come out of behaviour like this whether it is in this instance, or the next time a powerful country decides they want to act on a soverign nations leader. One thing all the Left wingers who the right are laughing at today have in common is they don't want death and suffering full stop and diplomacy, international institutions are the absolute best way to achieve that.

We’ve now learned that former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (69) was killed in one of the Israeli air strikes yesterday. He left office in 2013 but was a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, an advisory / dispute resolution body in the Iranian government.

Government resting upon the will and universal suffrage of the people has no anchorage except in the people's intelligence.

Shapiro is all Jews then. So, you don't actually know any Jews then.

You mean the flag of the previous Iranian regime which was also authoritarian and which also killed protestors in mass numbers and was a puppet of the USA and Britain. You ignored the question as per usual so I assume they won’t be taking up Netanyahus advice. Cool.

Three U.S. Service personnel reported dead and five seriously injured. Nine Israelis reported killed.

Hopefully these numbers will increase in the coming days.

Iran has the right and the duty of self defence.

He's actually one of the chief spokespeople for the sole Jewish state. A pretty important position and a claim which if wasn't true should have been retracted no?

Oh.... or Ben GVir describing spitting on Christians as an ancient tradition.

Just gonna have to wait on your proof otherwise Doug!

    Pop quiz.

1, Do you think the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza has (a) Increased the chances of terrorism in USA or (b) Reduced the chances of terrorism in USA?

    2. Do you think the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza has (a) Increased the level of hatred of the West in Middle East or (b) Reduced the level of hatred of the West in Middle East

    Take your time.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

Oh great, now we have the ferrosexuals active in this thread as well… 🙃

On a more serious note, I have an extremely bad feeling about this whole sh!t show. Whatever talk there may be about “regime change” or changes in the power balance in the region, Trump’s ego trip has set the clock in the region back 40-50 years.

Life is far too serious to be taken seriously!

Nothing to see here according to the usual suspects.

When you say, 'Chief spokespeople,' you can point out his office in the Israeli government? Because, hint hint, he is a US citizen and, albeit a right wing troll scumbot, has not official relationship with the Israeli government other than cheerleader. And Ben-Gvir's incendiary comments (as you're well aware, he has history here) were condemned.

So, again, do you know any real Jews?

Dara O'Brian used to have a joke on how to appear like an expert on the Middle East by knowing his name.

You just said "Mahmoud, I'm a dinner jacket" quickly but you tailed off at the end and didn't complete the last word.

I used to think of that joke every time he was mentioned.

My guess is that this attack in shorter (but much sharper) than the one last June which lasted 12 days (granted Israel did most of it). Trump/Netanyahu have taken out the leadership so they may well pause hostilities in a few days to allow a new authority to emerge. A lot will depend on market reactions and oil prices. The midterm campaigning starts in March too. The Iranian defence forces seem to be in a panicked "use it or lose it" mode and firing as many rockets as possible before they or the launchers are destroyed. The intensity of their attacks could wane in a few days.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

I do actually. Worked with a load of Israelis and have to say never really liked any of them cause they all had an air of superiority over their co-workers.

Do you want LinkedIn/facebook profiles? Numbers?

So any proof to the contrary?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,813 ✭✭✭bored65

    What a load of

Since I am not Iranian why should I be taking up the advice of those deplorable turds whom probably by now have as much blood on their hands as the Iranian regime

Meanwhile Iranians in Iran and outside are busy celebrating as is evidenced from video posted earlier

And yes they are flying the flag of the previous regime, which just shows how much worse this one is that their crimes pale in comparison

Would you tell to the face of Iranians here celebrating on the streets to their face “why don’t you go fight in Iran”? Like you seem to be telling random commentators on Internet forum for cheap virtual points

go back a few days in the thread when they were busy posting links to conspiracy websites like Grayzone and deflecting, denying and downplaying the reporting from Guardian and BBC on the murder of protesters, only to do a Uturn today when the same Guardian reported on the murder of those kids in school, apparently the deaths of 100 are more worthy of note than death of 36,000 because to some it’s not the deaths that matter but whether their side in the football match is responsible

I cannot stand how this gets main billing on BBC news but 100+ dead Iranian school goers is just a small headline. The message: Western lives matter more.

However you are a fool for wanting more dead Israelis and Americans. You can be sure that Israel will repay those 9 lives by taking 90 or 900 Iranian lives. It is the citizens who will pay the price

Proof that refutes you knew Israelis? No, I don't need that. Personally have known many growing up in NYC and working in that area for many years before moving here.

So, is Shapiro a spokesman for anyone other than Shapiro?

And, why do you insist on sending him money by publicizing his videos and urging people to go look there? I would think you're not one of his supporters, but maybe that's wrong of me.

Do you hold the same concern for the children who died in the school in Iran?
