I saw DOC gone for a HIA as well. Complete rearguard action so far

We are dreadful so far. Passive as fck.

We are at home and this is their B team. It’s not acceptable.

Not sure I am surprised with a windy house of a front five and those two halfbacks. Christ.

Was about to say the same thing I was impressed with the defense holding up for that long period

Intensity is much better from us consistently in this half so far. Seems we are against the wind too. Pity we didn't get a 3 or 5 from the quick tap

He didn't dive over a ruck there. Dived over a lad on the ground from previous ruck

Since when is that an offence?!

Defense has been exceptional today so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,889 ✭✭✭realhorrorshow

Dave O'Connor is having a very good game.

Silly by Joe that's 2 penalty for the same thing basically. Not sure there is clear head to head contact there tbh for it to be yellow.

Lads going down holding their face doesn't help but it is what it is

What an absolutely dumb and needless act by Joyce. Probably going to cost us the game in such a close one. Awful Awful awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,945 ✭✭✭Redo91

Worst decision I’ve seen on a rugby pitch in a long time. Yellow card with bunker review? It was a shove with no head contact. It barely warranted reversing the decision.

Surely that last lads warranted a check there looked well forward

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,435 ✭✭✭testtech05

Ah Sam such a kick to miss after such a long streak of 100 percent. And then a killer of a try to conceed from mowhe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,435 ✭✭✭testtech05

The yellow card has been an absolute killer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,215 ✭✭✭typhoony

We'll be lucky to even get a point out of this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,214 ✭✭✭randomname2005

Is there an angle that actually shows head contact in the Joyce incident?

Why wasn't the head contact by 17 blue in the act of Connacht scoring not looked at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,214 ✭✭✭randomname2005

    Brilliant

Fully deserved, gritty performance from Connacht. They were well up for that today, heroic defence at times.

    Brilliant defensive effort.

What a win. We were physical, fit, well prepared, well drilled in all facets, and resilient. Could be a real kickstart for the Lancaster era.

A great team effort, from minute 1 to 80 total commitment.

I thought prendergast was brilliant today.

That's a very high quality Glasgow side even without their internationals. Well drilled, physical with very few obvious weaknesses. You can see why they are top of the table. Beating them will certainly help with the confidence.

Well done lads. Excellent to wrestle it back after the yellow and going behind. The celebrations at the end looked like a weight being lifted off shoulders. A dramatic and close win like that can do wonders for a team, let's hope its the start of something

    What a performance by Cian

I was impressed with Colm Reilly, I know he was a bit hesitant at the ruck where ball was turned over but other than that he seemed to have a nice pace and crisp passing, hope he can step up and make up for the disappointment of losing Devine. Sean O’Brien was also v.good in his time on the field. Great win and pleasing for all the players and coaches that the effort of the last two weeks is rewarded with the right result.

Fair play to the lads, did not see that win coming before the game, or when we went behind.

Prendergast excellent off the bench, but for me (and this isn't a sentence I'd ever write) O'Connor was our player of the match for me. Brilliant in defence and set piece and he hit so many rucks and slowed so much ball for them. Not a game where he'll have anything for the highlight reel, but did so much of the stuff you need for other players to look good, well done!
