That is a very good try.

    8-7

    12 mins to play.

McGrath has made a difference. Good break by A. Osborne.

Osbourne did well there. Good finish by McGrath.

Osborne has had some nice touches since he's come on, fair play to him.

That’s that, did nothing once they scored.

    Nienabar must go.

what an abysmal performance. What even do our coaches do?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,090 ✭✭✭ironingbored

Hate to say it but Gunne needs to be let go and a scrumhalf brought in. Just not at any kind of level. Poor kicking and passing, slow to the breakdown.

Wow. How poor was that by Leinster. Was disappointed that the giant Spicer wasn't up to much.

Not really getting our money's worth from Ioane either.

Well that's an hour or so I wouldn't get back again. I always thought in conditions that bad territory is king.

Abject. No point wasting more words than that on that performance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,227 ✭✭✭bingobango12

Absolutely dreadful. Thought Tector can hold his head up and McGrath/Osbourne were good off the bench. That’s about it.

Agree on Spicer, too slow and ponderous and no aggression

Deegan won't relish seeing the clip of the Cardiff SH taking him for a ride.

Think that’s pretty harsh on a 20 year old. I thought he put himself about and absolutely smashed Calum Sheedy at one point. He wasn’t great, but how much more than that did we get from the double RWC winner RG Snyman?

Lions leading Stormers 24-10 with 7 mins left, and two men in the bin

The RTE & VM commentary team could take leaf out TG4 commentary. Full of enthusiasm.

Connacht are great at shooting themselves in both feet

    Poor call from Ref Breakspear

No ruck as everyone is off feet

No tacklers as everyone is off feet

Jansen entitled to dive in the act of scoring

In real time I thought it was fair enough, but from the first replay it looked perfectly fine, should have been a try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 109 ✭✭Joma4good

I agree, I think that was a fair attempt to score but visually too close to Dan Sheehans attempt that was penalised to be let go.

Bundee & Jack on. Handy win assured.

    Is there clear head contact?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 13,467 Mod ✭✭✭✭Cookiemunster

I couldn't see any. No idea how the ref could.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 9,478 ✭✭✭fitz

No, doesn't look like there was any head contact. Non of the angles showed there was, that's play on for me, potentially even a penalty for playacting my Glasgow player. That's two big calls against Connacht that looks extremely questionable.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 9,478 ✭✭✭fitz

    Surely that was well forward?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,101 ✭✭✭Paddy_Mag

    Last pass was forward
