Is she pretending to be hammered as some sort of character, or is she actually hammered? 😐️

    Ted, I'm going mad.

The last ten minutes or so were like the nonsensical Mediterranean country X telly of the 1990s the Fast Show used to parody. Scorchio.

    Garage on RTE One now.

Good film, but a bit bleak for a Friday night.

Kielty’s an awful interviewer. Did he even ask her her age when she first met Epstein? She wasn’t a child. She said she was a young model. She was 21… no actual probing or “tough” questions. Underage girls /children is a different matter, but a 21 year old who went back and went back.. need much more in-depth questioning.

Would'nt expect anything better from Kielty. The worlds worst tv chat show host - seriously, does anyone watch the Late Late any more? Most people would not even listen now for more than a few seconds if switching between channels.

it was a completely pointless and disingenuous interview.. in a very small nutshell it was “woman goes to island and gives a man a masssge.” The end!!

please bring back dermot bannon and pat shortt as guests, last night's show had to be the most boring and dull set of guests. Who is choosing the guests now on the LLS ??

Pre-recorded nonsense. 21yro model massages men for money.

If that was Ireland she would have broken the law.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,282 ✭✭✭✭walshb

More ya think of it the more incredibly disingenuous it was. RTE are a disgrace to put that out.

Its proven that abuse alters brain chemistry and make targets more suggestable, that maybe why she went back when they kept calling and messaging her later on. The volume and type of messages would have been intimidating as well.

At 21 she should have known better but its possible, ( a certain religious background) normalised it so she was unaware the scope and impact of it on targets.

Jessie Buckley and Maggie Gyllenhaal among Late Late Show guests.

    Pádraig Harrington.

Amanda Bone, Diarmuid Gavin, and Siobhán Lam honour the memory of Hugh Wallace.

Irish Winter Olympians Ben Lynch, Thomas Maloney Westgård, and Cormac Comerford.

    Danny Dyer

    and

Gavin Friday will sing The Church of Love.

Actually a good line-up of guests. No wonder he looks soo happy with himself.

One question, how can they have a photo of the two guests with Paddy before the show airs unless the interviews are pre-recorded? or are they file photos or AI generated.

I think that segment is pre-recorded.

Padraig Harrington…..seriously, wtf is it with this lad on all the time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,437 ✭✭✭littlevillage

Kinda defeats the purpose of having a live chat show if there's various pre-recorded segments.

I can understand why they do it, for very special guests who are just too hard to get onto the live set, but Jessie Buckley and Maggie Gyllenhaal are presumably shilling a new film and could surely fit in a little trip to Dublin. It feels like Paddy went over to England and queued up like the rest of the reporters and got his 15 minute interview with the talent.

Actually was reading an article about Jessie Buckley after the Bafta's. She's such a show-in for an Oscar now, she doesn't need anymore publicity... so her 'people' are probably keen to keep her away from live tv until after the Oscars....in case of a costly gaff.

She'll be on TLLS after winning the Oscar, don't worry about that. (or at least some of her family and neighbours and old drama teacher etc. etc.)

Yes it actually is a good line up of guests, but last week's show was brutal, there was nobody of interest. Whoever is lining up the guests each week is doing a brutal job and should be fired. Surely the guests they have tonight should have been divided over 2 shows, now even the good guests tonight will only have very rushed interviews. Thats hardly down to Kielty though. Its shocking bad organisation, its hardly the case that all those guests were only available for tonight?
