Ouch! Took a min of zooming to figure out what the hell the 'package' was!

Uh - you talking above the above pic? Thought it was a colostomy bag

Aren't humans animals?! Maybe I'm missing a joke but, just in case there's confusion, it's a catheter bag that's in the photo, minus it's user who would normally be physically attached...

The pic looked very blurry earlier, the bits sticking out looked like chicken legs. If that's not a fake pic, that poor person must have suffered very severe damage. Doesn't bear thinking.

Colostomy bags would be worn under the clothes and would be stuck to the skin, usually.

A catheter bag to be exact! Can be fitted after major surgery if the patient is temporarily immobile. It's a tube through the pee pee hole into the bladder with a small balloon inflated at the end to keep it in place.

    Edit, just seen @Escapees explanation!

And people with various neurological or oncological issues are forced to wear them indefinitely. They're very useful but cause innumerable problems, the first of which is recurring UTIs, including antibiotic resistant ones.

I had one for a few days after major surgery a few years ago. Getting the thing out belongs in the Nope thread!!😫 Luckily I was under when it went in.

It's a different level of pain altogether when they get pulled out accidentally! Lots of blood and surgery required (I'm not joking)...

D'you know something? These last few posts do belong in the Nope thread, so I'm moving them. And let's just hope that that bag fell out of an "biohazard" bin.
