Limerick on fire so far, Kiely is going all out this year as a last dance for the older lads.

If they get Cork this year in Croker I think they'll beat them.

I doubt anyone thinking of Croker yet unless the Dublin lads! The main thing is getting out of Munster or Leinster.

My prediction is Tipp to not get out of Munster this year. Not based on tonights performance just a feeling I have.

Marty Morrisey going for one of his standard filler lines and saying tonight after a score " the scorer from Moneygall, in the county of Tipperary", which is the one time this line doesn't work as Moneygall is in Offaly not Tipperary.

I was just saying this. I was saying I could have sworn that was in Offaly!! 😅

Dreadful stuff from Tipp in that half. Miles off the pace.

Moneygall gaa field is in Tipperary and as such they play their hurling in Tipperary

tasty ending to Dublin v Wexford, ref won’t be getting Christmas card from either team

In recent history Dublin v Wexford games always eventful. But that was at another level.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Limerick have been outstanding here. Most positive is that the younger brigade are leading the way. O brien, o Connor English.

    Worrying for tipperary supporters though

Limerick fairly battered Tip in Thurles. Their subs only improved them also.

Ah ya Limerick are finished alright......

Some amount of slapping, dragging and throws in Thurles and hardly any blown. The Cork ref must be listening to BOC.

The performace Limerick needed really. Hunger and intensity. Namesakes on the bench now scratching thier heads looking at some young player performaces. That Cork game in limerick in couple weeks will be one to watch

You could literally just copy and paste posts about the Irish team earlier. In the same place and gave the same response.

I really wasn't expecting that today. The moist energy and accuracy Limerick have had in ages.

Don't need the whistle blown every minute. Refs can't win really ,whether they blow too much or too little

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,816 ✭✭✭Grats

A foul is a foul and too many are not punished. You can have a free flowing game playing within the rules. Slaps on the helmet/head should never be tolerated.

Thought the ref had a fairly good game. Didn't see the sending off but no one seems to be complaining.

Didn't see any slaps to the helmet that you are talking about.

True. But it is clear that Limerick have the hunger back and are rightly seen as one of the favourites.

they did for sure , punished two bad mistakes early in the first half with two goals , we had the same amount of goal chances and didnt take them , we pulled away in the second half but in fairness thy kept fighting back had a late goal chance saved before they got the 3rd in injury time

its great to see in fairness they are a county that have a strong hurling base , it would be great to see them kick on over the next few years

Hegarty got a belt at start of second half, drove on and took the point.

They could do with a bit more support from the GAA, potentially a good hurling county there just needs more joined up thinking.

There's not a whole lot of hurling outside of Naas and plenty of clubs don't ever bother with it. Not much coming through either but they're definitely moving in the right direction.

    Getting tasty in 1B

Dublin have to win there remaining 3 games and hope Wexford (to a lesser extent Clare) slip up along the way. I'm guessing with the draw it'll come down to score difference between Dublin and Wexford if both end up on 9pts

Clare vs Wexford could decide a lot, Kildare won't fear Wexford though and will be full of confidence after tonights showing against Clare

Davy and Antrim badly needed a win starting tomorrow against Antrim. Loser tomorrow in real danger of going down
