Folks Anyone else for Borderline next weekend? Just starting my homework now, could do with a couple of hot tips. Boko Yout an early front runner. I like the cut of their jib.

I'm heading to it alright, I've not done a deep dive on the acts yet but I'll set aside some time over the weeks and see what stands out. Looking forward to it.

A good 5 months before it but still no word from POD on In The Meadows 2 months earlier in June. Wonder if that's a bad sign at this stage?

I posted on here last week that it’s not happening this year.

1000 Mods, Whelans, Friday 20th November. I think a few here enjoyed their last visit in the Grand Social. Playing Belfast and Limerick the following two nights.

Also, a heads up that Chat Pile tickets are a fiver cheaper at Foggy Notions than TM.

Remember Sports playing the Workman's next month. €22.50 via Foggy Notions or €25.90 via TM

Been listening to them lately. Not totally sold on them but could be a good gig. Kinda getting Frankie Cosmos vibes.

Have you ever heard of the story "the boy who cried wolf" ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,745 ✭✭✭✭Eod100

Yup I saw that. There's been nothing official to confirm that though and festival and POD site have dates up for it. Hopefully they will confirm if it's going ahead or not soon either way.

Foy Vance is doing an in store. Buy the album or CD and its free entry. He's playing Belfast later in the year.

Marty Whelan was the introduction. There is a bit of Van Morrison going on.

Billy Ocean took a while to get into groove at Rewind, might have been the chill air but then he really got crowd going.
