Can a mod please advise why posts are being deleted in the main immigration thread?

One i made a couple of days ago was deleted. I received no warning or sanction for the post so it was obviously not breaking any forum rules so it begs the question, why was it deleted?

It appears that there is selective censorship at play.

To add, the post related to a Reuters article about significant tightening of Swedens immigration laws.

@El Gato De Negocios the mods are not in a position to advise why some posts get deleted, there can be a variety of reasons, it would be impractical and place an onerous workload on them to give feedback every single time they need to remove one.

CA is incredibly fast moving and the immigration thread in particular is a high volume thread. You can try reaching out by PM to a mod if you wish and ask them to check, they may or may not.

Deleting posts is covered by rule 4 of the CA forum charter.

So basically, mods can pick and choose what posts they delete and they do not have to give any reason whatsoever for doing so. Thats some seriously totalitarian bullshit but utterly symptomatic of 2026. Don't like what you are saying so rather than engage, challenge or debate, we choose to stop you being able to post things we dont like, even though you have not broken any site rules because you can be sure Id be sanctioned if i had. Pathetic.
