Sky have announced that it will bring Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, Hayu and Ultimate TV package in March for 28euro a month. No mention that I can see of an after price so who knows what it might go upto. They are also ad supported.

And no mention of Paramount. Discovery+ is mentioned.

Paramount+ requires a Sky Cinema sub.

I assume it's the same hardware, so still no RTE/BBC readily on demand?

Unless it’s changed, RTE and (some) BBC programmes are available on demand.

This is just a bundling of certain streamers (Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu) with the existing Sky TV packages. No change to the Sky TV offering itself.

After price is €41 per month and they don't appear to be offering retentions in the same way as before.

All their call centres are offshored now, they'll happily let you cancel down without a fight as they don't seem to be incentive driven in the way Dublin and Scotland were.

They really get you if you want multiroom (€20/month extra), kids (€12/month) or ad-free (Disney+ €2 extra, HBO Max €5, Sky on-demand €6).

Oh really? Thought RTE were keeping everything for their own player. This changes things!

It's hit and miss. Some things direct to the RTÉ Player while others appear to have been saved to the cloud.

At least when I had Sky Q there was seven day catch up for RTE programmes available through the Sky interface. Beyond that you needed the app.
