That Lammens stop from Wilson just as important if not more so than that finish from Sesko.

    Some final 90 seconds.

Thats a great goal and despite playing poorly they never gave up...a great sign. Could be a vital point

Goals like tonight and v Arsenal show we need to cut sesko some slack. Needs some patience and time to settle but absolute quality potential there

We didn’t deserve a point. Walking from minute 1 but that was outrageous by Sesko.

Didn't deserve anything so I'll happily take a draw. Carrick still unbeaten

It felt like he should have come on a good bit earlier. There was definitely an argument for a half time change.

So the lesson learned tonight is Sesko needs to start v low blocks and get those crosses in

First off, Sesko goal was unreal.

Second, Amad needs to have a look at himself after that performance

Had cursed about the poor ball in, and then the ball was in the back of the net.

    Lovely little finish.

    Stay above Chelsea.

delighted for Sesko. And delighted to scupper West Ham’s win. Performance was very lacking though.

a draw is a decent result after seeing that performance.

Think he’s been our worst player this year when he’s played, but Yoro deserves a lot of credit. Two phenomenal bits of individual defending to keep us in it.

First small misstep from Big Michael, everyone watching saw the game was crying out for Sesko up top. Should have been on with 30 minutes to go at the very very least.

Only saw the 2nd half but I've never been as unimpressed with Amad as I am tonight.

Wrong decision each and every time he got the ball. And had a narky head on him - complaining instead of getting on with it.

Good draw in the end considering the performance and how the game had planned out.

We struggle so much against hard working teams that defend deep. Everton is going to be another tough game. We really need to up the pace of play and be braver on the ball.

Honeymoon period is over for Carrick now so will be interesting to see how the next couple of games go.

Important point, lucky that Chelsea couldn't take any advantage. It is a good habit to get results when not necessarily playing great, should reinforce the teams belief they can get late goals.

West Ham so dislikeable. Delighted with that! What a finish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,631 ✭✭✭The Big Easy

Amad was off it tonight not unlike a lot of his teammates, but he's been consistently our best player in the last 18 months imo.

Especially after the AFCON and how much he puts into every match he's entitled to a bit more slack than a lot of them!

Considering how shite we were ill take the point with a heart and a half. Nearly 2 weeks off now to work together. 13 out of 15 considering the opposition is a superb return and the fact Chelsea drew eases the sting substantially.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,962 ✭✭✭Whatsisname

Sesko needs to start from now on. Amad, Cunha and Mbeumo can fight it out for the 2 wing positions and it isn’t Amad winning either right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 156 ✭✭JoyceDavenport

Good battling point and Sesko silencing his critics.

Why didn't Amad shoot there at the end.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

While Cunha has been hot and cold and not great tonight, Sesko in for Amad is the play vs Everton. They'd be the lowest of low blocks around

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,721 ✭✭✭kerplun k

And on top of that, if you keep rolling out the same players and the same approach, you become predictable and easy to read.

13 out of 15 points for Carrick, come on lads, that's a great return in comparison to what we've endured. Reality check ✔️
