Hi, I am looking for about 9 single occupancy rooms in and around Galway city. Budget is tight so looking for options beyond the usual popular hotels. It would be a Wednesday night in April (not Easter). Can anyone recommend anywhere to try? Thanks

You could try Tavelodge and couple possibly manage something for around 100/pp.

Is this corporate? student group? family event?

If budget is a concern, sharing rooms will save a fortune.

There is no such thing as budget accomm in Galway.

    London can be cheaper.

Ward's hotel used to be good value, but would it have nine rooms?

    I just checked Wed 1-April, and it's 80 euro RO / 85 B&B

9 rooms available in the one place will be a challenge, to put things mildly.

Single occupancy is irrelevant, you will pay for the room, unless you get twin rooms and people agree to share.

Nearly impossible during the college year unfortunately.

Over the summer its surprisingly good when you can book the on campus rooms, all single rooms with en-suite.

    Looking for the same.

Paid nearly 500 euro for a pop up hotel near the station last summer.

It was a converted care home with a single bed. No joke.

    Any budget recommendations always welcome.
