Got a new router from Eir - has band steering been completely removed?

I had always been able to access band steering via "gui/#/wifi/2.4GHz/priv/mesh-wifi/bandsteering" but this no longer seems to work. This is infuriating as it keeps assigning my laptop and phone to the 2.4 speed.

Has anyone come across this recently and found a workaround? It's a Sagemcom CS 39000.

Yeah that used to be a workaround with the F3000 router to get to the band steering options but with the newer F3500 router, you can't it seems.

I think their Fibre Box 7 / Sagemcom Box W7 allows you to split the bands, but this router is only provided if you are on their 2Gb/5Gb packages.

You could always get your own router to replace it instead - TP-Link, ASUS, Ubiquiti etc.

Most likely settings are just "hidden" in user interface, similar as on VF router. See here
Perhaps could be exposed and adjusted in developer tools.

Oh this could be worth a shot. The manual for the router itself actually has band steering instructions, it's clear that Eir have hidden it somehow. Will try this later, thanks very much.

If you dig deeper, you might find other features "hidden" too

Late to the party but came across this post and just resolved this issue on my eir router by hitting F12 accessing the Console tab and running the following script, hopefully will help someone else:
