That must be Nigel with the brie...

I forgot the best bit: while the ninny was going nuclear over the spelling mistake they made a very similar mistake themselves and were immediately pulled up on it. 🤭

Seems like thread still needs its morning bork.

I didn't see it either! I thought that was Boards delivering late notifications.

Posters being fine with racist comments yet furious about someone pointing out spelling error to said racist poster.

Having to regularly clear notifications that are taking me back to posts from last month.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Idiots trying to use umbrellas in this wind.

Also, the fact that I managed to make an appointment to get my hair done for the first time in over a year, in the middle of an orange rain warning 😫

woken up twice by the storm, the second time at 6.15am… and never got back to sleep with the racket….also…

my still outstanding delivery… “ we’ll contact the courier for you and see… “ The courier shows no record of having it ….. Also this was at 8.14am this morning, it’s now 2.36pm, 6 hours and 22 minutes later…how long does it take you to phone / email a courier and coordinate some sort of action and response.. ? at this stage just either commit to sending a replacement or refund my money, I’ve now genuinely no preference which but I really just want it to be over and not have to deal with this company and their dumb as pigshît employees…

I keep on getting Notifications from days ago on here!

TA 1: so I take it TRYKA is the new Hyrox for those so-damn-intense fitness enthusiasts? I'm all for keeping myself fit, but some people take it too seriously. Wonder how many of them have an active job involving surpassing10K steps a day.

TA 2: while I have been relatively lucky avoiding the bulk of the rain when out in work, I am fed up of the constant sogginess of my socks. So many puddles everywhere.

TA - The way these old notifications are dribbling out indicates to me that the site is hosted on a budget server/service that isn't up to the job.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Umbrellas full stop I'm 6'4" and you seem to poke the eyes out of me

If you chop onions or handle strong cheese and you can still smell it on your hands after washing them.

I saw a woman walking down the street, one of the prongs on her umbrella had come loose so she basically had a sharp pointy thing sticking out the side ready to take someone's eye out.

Site's fcuked. Been running on the equivalent of yoghurt cartons and waxed string for a long time now.

Had to run for the bus and got a shoe full of water in the process.

Minced some, clearly strong, garlic yesterday and you’d swear I did it a minute ago.

Rub your hands and fingers on steel (a piece of cutlery, a pot, even the tap) as you wash them, it neutralises the odour. Rubbing your hands with sodium bicarbonate (bread sida) helps, too.

I tried that before, even bought an actual kitchen tool that was meant to prevent it and it did nothing.

I’ll try the bicarb though, thanks.

People with umbrellas. Its like a boxing training sessions bobbing and weaving trying to avoid having your eye taken out.

People who stick up placards for their events at the roadside. Heaps of tiny writing, how tf are you supposed to read those from a moving car???

The relative who says rather sanctimoniously that they 'don't really go to doctors' and 'don't take medication' when, true enough, they don't have any issues that would require it. But now something has emerged that does need attention and no doubt medication and they are there like a shot, getting bloods and examinations and ecgs, appointments all over the place, but of course thats essential they don't really go to doctors - as though the rest of us just go for entertainment.

Similar TA… the electronic ones that need about three flashes to show the whole message, so you need a few goes driving along the road to get the whole message.

Watching an episode of Flog it! And only realising now it’s a repeat

checked three different weather forecasts earlier for an area of Dublin tomorrow, all three are different..

RTÈ… pissing rain basically all day..

    YR… maybe a shower around 3pm…

Accuweather… maybe a shower around 1pm but an otherwise clear afternoon….

three different sites, varied ‘forecasts’, hard to decide. Not exact science but can’t the ‘experts’ be roughly if not on the same page, be on the same chapter, 👀….next site might have us forcast to be in for a snow typhoon..

Went to close my sitting room window and the handle came off in my hand. The lock is sprung so I can't close it. Won't be able to get someone to fix it until Monday. There's quite a draft coming through it.

Ah now it's cold. I'm raging.

Stuck sitting on a plane that was supposed to depart at 6am, pushed back to 7am, and now back to 8am as there is severe fog in Amsterdam which means we won't be able to land there.

Also, earlier this morning, the taxi I booked to take me to the airport never showed up.

Don't think today is gonna be my day.
