    Hi all,

I'm here in a bit of desperation.

My personal laptop which use for my work (self employed) is a 2 year old fairly well spec'd Dell XPS 14 with Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155H (1.40 GHz) CPU and 32 GB RAM etc. I use it every day but today for some bizarrre reason it says there is "No internet, secured" when connected to my home Mesh WiFi. All other devices connected to the same WiFi network have internet and are working fine and the laptop will connect to a Hotspot network off my phone fine confirming "Connected, secured" but every time I connect to the home network it says it has no internet connection.

I tried rebooting without any joy.

Any suggestions? I'm a bit baffled and really need this WiFi connection for work / Teams calls etc tomorrow.

Can you see your wifi network listed when you go into wifi menu?

In windows hardware check to see if you have a Wi-Fi device listed, possibly driver issue after an update. Also check in your BIOS settings on bootup to ensure Wi-Fi devices are enabled.

I wonder if the WiFi is using an older security standard such as WPA with TKIP, and Windows is demanding WPA2-AES or WPA3?

Using the phone check to see what security is being applied to your existing WiFi.

    Try
Settings» WiFi settings» manage known networks

"Forget" connection, reconnect again with password

Did you try rebooting your WiFi?

Thanks all, I read these late last night and started with the low hanging fruit option suggested by @ItHurtsWhenIP which I can't believe I didn't just do myself and bingo once everything came back to life the laptop connection to the WiFi with full internet connection was restored.

Appreciate everyones suggestions and time taken to reply.
