What are the octavia petrol versions 1.2 like say from 2011 to 2014.

About 10 to 12 times a year I would have to pull about a ton on a trailer behind the car.

Would the 1,2 octavia be able for this

According to Google that car is rated to tow 610kg unbraked and 1500kg braked.

A ton (1000kg) would only be legal if the trailer you're towing is braked. And you have the correct license and insurance cover for towing a trailer of that weight.

Ignoring all that, a 1.2 turbo petrol was hardly designed as a load lugger. It will be under fair pressure towing a load that heavy. Doing it 10 to 12 times a year is asking for trouble. Maybe a 2.0tdi Octavia would manage this better but even still most cars aren't really designed to tow much more than half a ton in a small single axle trailer. You really need a van or jeep if you're towing loads this heavy that regularly.

Short answer, it will likely be able but it may not last long doing so.
