Where to buy insulin syringes for diabetes?

My cat has just been diagnosed and started insulin this morning. The syringes are very expensive from the vet. I'm just wondering if anyone else with a diabetic pet has found anywhere to buy these online?

Amazon maybe? I used to get needles for my kidney dog on VioVet but that was before Brexit and extra charges. A friend drives up to Newry for her dogs prescription as it’s so much cheaper vs here in Dublin

Thanks so much. I did end up ordering some on Amazon which is a pity because I normally boycott them, but it's just not feasible for me to pay what the vet is charging. I found one Irish shop but they were almost as much as the vet. I tried asking my local pharmacist if they could order them and they were willing to but they were even more expensive.

That's a really interesting idea for the prescription as well, thanks. I don't suppose you know the name of the pharmacy in Newry?
