Benefits/uses for a bobbin sander

have asked AI and it tells me some benefits, I see they come with a heap of different drum sizes so it it all just about curves. For those of you that have one, would welcome any novel/ not obvious insights Thanks as always

just curious what the intended use you'd have; i've never had one and the only times i've considered borrowing one was on the couple of electric guitars i made, which have tight curves which are annoying to hand sand.
