    Hi there.

We're looking for a someone to play keys/synth/effects in a 4 piece Alternative Metal band. Not looking for Dream Theatre type of keys, but more of an 'atmospheric' type of vibe. If you had the ability play guitar as well that would be an added bonus as we're toying with the idea of getting a 2nd guitarist.

Our common influences would be Deftones and Tool.

We jam at Pirate Studios in Glasnevin once a week and are currently writing and recording demos (see below) for recording an EP. We're ultimately looking to gig and record and see where it goes from there. There's 4 demos below which will give you an idea of our sound.

There's a couple of other rough demos on our Soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/terrybruton

We're Aged 39-42 (if that makes a difference).

If interested, reply to this post, send a PM or email terrybruton@gmai.com

    See demos below.

Damn. This sounds perfect, except I'm the other side of the country so couldn't travel to jam with you.

I'm 41. I'm more of a guitarist but super into synths too. I own the ASM Hydrasynth Deluxe and Behringer Model D synths (as well as some other gear) and would happily focus on improving my keyboard playing for a band (and buying more gear...always). My theory is decent, I like odd time sigs and progressive metal. I write my own music. My rhythm guitar (8-string) is intermediate I guess.

Currently working on my own solo EP in the post metal, progressive metal scene with atmospheric synths being a staple of the sound.

Don't know why I wrote all that, it wouldn't work I don't think.

Uuugghhh....there's never anything this side of the country (Clare) for a middle-aged metalhead 😁

Welp. You have a new follower anyways. I'll be rooting for ya! I like your sound from what you've posted here.

    Hope you find someone! 🤘

    Luke
