Repurposing White Kegs?

    With the CO2 Brass. Half their 'cost / value' is in the brass fittings on the lids. Someone suggested scrapping the brass and calling them 'Water Containers'. But, that'd leave holes in the lids 🙄

    Leave all that lovely brass on them? Over kill, for just water jugs. And what a waste of brass!

    So; What else can ye do with these things? Anyone come up with an idea, please?

    I doubt there's any better use than putting homemade beer or cider in them.

    Yeah. Pretty forlorn hope, isn't it? I actually met a bloke who made duck nest boxes out of five gallon, plastic 'bottles'. Still leaves all those valves.

    Filling them? I honestly doubt most have Ever even held drink. Bought plenty. Changed method, almost instantly … Now? Long since given up drinking altogether. Gave 'all' my HB gear to a mate, the other week. Shiny stuff. Corni's n' all. Just got these damn kegs now.

    I'd chuck them on 'Tyre Kickers & Tooth Suckers.Ie'. But, I see HB gear's not exactly shifting. Plastic kegs are probably considered totally 70's. I just thought: 'How the hell can I 'Sell' these things? What's their attraction? If people aren't making beer? What Can I suggest they'll want them for?' With all that brass :|

    Scrap the brass: What are people gonna do with open topped kegs?! 😬

    Bugger.
