for me park2travel and the Clayton are coming up the same price but I can’t get the discount code to work on the Clayton.

Blue parking at the airport is €336 so €100 more

You won't be able to use the Code on Clayton as your screenshot shows April for your booking and the code is only valid until the 31st March On the main screen it doesn't tell you this but when you go looking into the details it says it does expire on the 31st March. In one way it looks like the Code expires on the 31st March but in reality it appears that only for booking that end on/before the 31st March was their intention in the phrase.

Note also that the Clayton retain €9 if you book and seek to cancel your booking.

Thanks for that.. was holding off on getting better than the 15% 🙈.. used Park2Travel last year and found it great

(Note: I'm probably still bitter.. but don't use Park2Fly.. had horrendous experience (twice) with them last year thinking I was booking this)

I used it again last night for a booking in March and July

Some difference for the 2 weeks in August in fairness

Just priced it for March. Even with 20% off it's coming in at 65, red is 53 and blue is 41 and that's without any DAA codes. First time I've seen it that way

I was curious about a long term stay in April (tbh im probably gonna get the bus) but some difference between DAA and Park2Travel.

For my 4 days in March it was €54 with the discount. Red was 83 and blue was 62

I’m not trying to argue with your prices btw, just posting for info. People should always check all the options IMO as, as you point out, sometimes DAA can be cheaper

Same, Ive yet to come across any dates where DAA where cheaper than Park2travel

Booked for 10 days in August for €100 with the 20% discount

Surprisingly DAA Blue was around the same price (€5 more) but less convenient. DAA Red was €141

anyone know if parking booked from holidayextras work in park2travel? https://www.holidayextras.com/airport-parking.html

  • Moderators, Regional South East Moderators Posts: 9,299 Mod ✭✭✭✭Aquos76

Well yes if you book the park2travel option which they offer to you

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 426 ✭✭bugsyb4

Sorry not a fully related q but for 2nd week of Easter for 6 days am getting Blue at €70 v Park2Travel €81 v Clayton €80 (20% discount only up to end of March which doesn't work).

Blue is unusually cheaper than other 2, is it a decent option? Only used Clayton the last 3 or 4 trips and no issues.

Also does Blue carpark ever offer Promo Codes?

    Thanks

there nothing at all wrong I find with the blue car park I find as long as you give yourself just that extra time. Buses run very frequently day and night for me when I use it..it’s just that extra length of a drive.

I’ve had a bad experience with the bus for blue, was waiting over 25minutes, which felt even longer as several red arrived and left during that time, and it was raining.

Depending on your personal circumstances it could be okay, but I personally preferred to pay a little extra for the more frequent bus service, it was less than €5 difference for my booking, so I’d make the call per booking based on circumstances at the time.

I’ve used blue a few times, the buses are every 20 minutes and last time we just missed one, that could happen anywhere tbf the car park is fine and I don’t see a reason to avoid it

I stood at blue bus stop a few years ago and waited nearly an hour for a bus. I swore I'd never use it again

There hasn't been a time when I got the bus from blue that someone hasn't constantly leant against the stop bus button for the entire trip. I counted one time and it was set off 45 times during the journey. Worth paying the extra to not start your holiday in a murderous rage (and yes it is loud enough to go through noise cancelling headphones).

why not say something to the person, I’ve used blue several times when it came up the cheapest and never experienced this

Used blue twice, never waited more than 10 mins either side. Really don’t see any difference between blue and red. You’re on a bus for 10-15 minutes either way

Previously had used quick park solely on price. Using the new version soon (based on price again). I’m not sure how anyone can have any very strong feelings on the outside car parks tbh

wait till you have to stand at a bus stop for an hour, you might have strong feelings then 🤣

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,875 ✭✭✭Toast

The bus is generally rammed and I'd have no idea who it was, though I am pretty sure one time it was kids doing it to be menaces. Most likely people don't realise they're doing it. If it didn't happen to you, you probably should have bought a lottery ticket, because my experience is it has been every time.

One early morning in park2travel, we had same experience - luckily we had got there early but 2 full buses sailed past and waited 40 mins and started to debate walking / calling a taxi so also bit nervous about the outside car parks. To be fair was one time out of 3 using but bit stressful starting a trip.

13 days parking in any of them coming in at 200 plus for June so looking if a taxi or paying family member cheaper now.

They have just upped the daily price to €16.40 before any discount added.

From the 1st February looks like

Does anyone know if you booked an entry time of say 8am for park2travel, would the barrier open an hour or so earlier and allow entry?

3 hours before your booked time. I contacted them about it before and that's what they told me.
