Removing gorse hedge

Spraying Round up has success for some and not for others, depends if you stick at it twice a year every year.

In My eyes there's no better stock proof hedge than a thick whin bush hedge, stock proof and great shelter. But needs hedgecutter ever year or second year to keep it in shape

Nothing wrong with gorse as a hedge though. Great for biodiversity and looks grea IMO. I was up in Down last year and I couldn't help but notice the gorse hedges.

I've had great success by cutting it off at the base [steel cutting disc on a brushcutter] then drilling into the stump and filling the hole with roundup.

Standard spraying mix, 360ml in my 15 litre sprayer. Speaking of which, the sprayer I had was a back pack and between putting it on my back and pumping the handle it had the shoulders cut off me, so I broke out and bought a good battery powered sprayer on wheels, probably the best purchase I've ever made.

WWhat Make and model did you buy

Would it do the spuds? Would I need penny farming wheels to go down the furrows?
