In the UK my wife was a supervisor in one of the big name supermarkets. A chinese guy used to come in regularly and by loads of chicken cat food. Perhaps he had a cat that liked chicken cat food :-)

Two little tricks to help you keep your sanity (if you can do the training in your own time): 1. Mute the computer. 2. Play the presentation at double speed.

EDIT: 1. NVM, I've just seen your other post. Are the images no help? I mean, would they give you a clue as to when to turn the audio back on?

Accessibility mode also often helps. Video doesn't play, you just get a transcript instead. Can be waaaaaaay quicker than having to sit through all the badly-scripted cringe.

I'd nearly put money on the coatings they use on chicken not being wheat, but the discussions are impenetrable.

Apparently, after much discussion, it turned out that, right enough, no wheat flour in the chicken coating.

Some of our work videos you can't change speed. Anyway I've a copy of the answers from last year and can use AI to help answer 🤣

Edit can't change speed so you're stuck at normal speed.

The obvious question to ask is - what is it that you have to make again a lot outdoors? 😉

Does it qualify if a TA made me snort laugh in public?. Asking for a friend, obviously

To me the defining quality of a TA (or at least a TA post) is that it should be mildly amusing. Otherwise it's just grousing.

missed my PB on the treadmill at the gym for 30 minutes by 0.01 kilometers… and the TA is I was just daydreaming watching and listening to a concert on my phone. Normally I’m doing this but paying attention to the checkpoints and my times / progress. Very pleased with my efforts all round today but would have been kinda nice also to have that little achievement to finish off the week, always next week though where my lesson taken from today will be watch the the clock, just ‘listen’ to the music.. 🎧

😁 It does look nice with the wood stacked - well I like it anyway, even better when there is a fire in! If its an allergy fest it may not last long though.

Food allergy ridden family here! new bistro opened at the mid point of lots of our locations, great spot for meeting/family events etc.

Messaged just as they opened to ask if they had wheat free options? the boss who has been saying in all the adverts how much experience they have in the industry responded to me with a list of their whole grain wheat breads, fresh baked using Irish flour!!!!!!!

T junction near me. Two red lights clearly indicate not to to go left or right. Pedestrian crossings have the green light for pedestrians to cross.

Most times I wait to cross, the last car breaks the red lights and drives through the pedestrian crossing.

Today is it some **** in a large suv steering left with right hand and mobile in left hand up to their ear.

Just listening to a YouTube video about old UK stars in the Sci-Fi series UFO. One of the actors evidently went on to work in Zee Cars :-(

Wake me up when it's all over.

I remember watching Stargate Atlantis and the Canadian and American cast members would deliberately say Zed-PM or Zee-PM as a technobabble acronym :)

Bad weather and old people numptie driving. If you are nervous driving in bad weather (in a supermarket car park) stay at home - you are retired, plan and go shopping when it’s not busy. What you don’t do is stop in the driving lane, indicator to turn left and then wait for every other car around you to move. Learn to drive or get out of my way. FFS everyone has a lane, stay in yours and you’ll be grand. Bad weather means slow down and be cautious, it doesn’t mean stop and inconvenient everyone around you.

I’m a big advocate for everyone (I’m over 60) to have to redo their driving licence every 20 / 25 years to keep up to date and to ensure that you have a specific skill level. I must have met everyone who got given licences in the 80’s today - not my best day

that the hourly weather forecast I read earlier this afternoon for my specific area of Dublin for this evening turned out to be totally inaccurate…was supposed to have stoped raining after 6pm yet still…🌧️👀

Weather radar is the best method for seeing what's happening.

More on the way for you.

Kick em off the app, or we now at a place where we can’t even upset scammers ?

TA - people going against the TA.

Also, the fcuking rain. I'm normally a bit of a "Ah just dress appropriately and get on with it" type, but mother of divine whatever, I am SO FCUKING SICK of walking the dogs in bucketing rain and the constant rotation of towels and throws and blankets to try and keep them and the floors and their beds and the couch something approaching clean and dry.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaand breathe...

Breathe slow, think ocean waves man, think ocean waves. 😄

hour ago I’m listening to the rain and wind, thinking the same…‘ok it’s seriously time to investigate getting somewhere more pleasant to live.’ When my folks are gone but… I’m just so TA’d of this climate, and I only have to walk..ME ! 👀 Was in a part of Andalusia in March ‘19, nice comfy T-Shirt weather. Effortlessly pleasant..

People who say "I'm a grafter".

    Firstly I hate the word.

Then they generally can expect praise for doing work that loads do anyway.

Ocean waves are wet, I don't think that will help.

Last night I was feeling thankful, fire lit, tv on, about to eat dinner we made at home and thinking how different from this day last year when we had no electricity, most of the contents of the shed were in the kitchen after Storm Éowyn did a number on the garden shed and we ate dinner at McDonalds much like half the county. TA is that just as I was about to start eating our oven door exploded, glass all over the kitchen. A much smaller disaster than last year so only a trivial annoyance

My home delivery arrived with no beer . My plan of watching the NFC and AFC championship games has changed 😡

Update on the wood allergy - I got a loan of a Dyson air filter - huge yoke with a revolving loop on top. It definitely seems to be working, the sneeze and wheeze levels have declined significantly, almost gone. I think I will have to invest, they are quite expensive but I don't think I need this top of the range one, this is a much smaller room than the one the filter normally resides in.

Just look for a non-Dyson one, just one with a decent filter (HEPA or equivalent). See this site found through random search.
