You managed to completely miss the point of my post which is that Jews are NOT fleeing in fear of their lives from the UK.

If only there was a Jewish ethno state created specifically for Jews to move to if they felt unsafe.
Trump has claimed Christians are being killed in huge numbers in Nigeria. He has called it a genocide. He has bombed Nigeria. But has announced a ban on immigration from Nigeria. Perhaps they have the wrong skin colour.

I didn't ask why they had to flee, I asked why they couldn't migrate to anywhere in the MENA region.

As to why, in Gaza at least, it's because their de-facto government chose to start an all-out war.

As to why they can't find refuge anywhere in the MENA region, perhaps that's a question you can answer? I'm not going to hold my breath though.

"Operating a hamas affiliated drone" It reminds me of the Hamas camera incident. That sheep that the IDF killed was probably "Hamas affiliated" in some way

First of all, the first part of your post started with "More victimhood." Who was crying victim?

Secondly, what you say could easily be said about many of the so-called "refugees" that have migrated in recent years, but this sounds like another case of "No Jews, No News."

Funny, the US State Department has explained their full list of migration restrictions. Criteria are risks to public safety, the likelihood of an immigrant becoming a "public charge" and so forth.

What is anti-semitic about Israel establishing prison camps in Rafah and Gaza where they gradually exterminate the Palestinians or force them out through ethnic cleansing?

What is anti-semitic about Israel torturing Palestinians?

What is anti-semitic about over 100,000 dead Palestinians in the last two years and a quarter of a million injured?

Ordinary people with any humanity are sick of Israel's genocide.

Maybe you didn't like them being described as a tribe? You can read up on that.

    https://religionnews.com/2022/02/13/jews-race-tribe/

    The Jews are a tribe.

Which means we are connected to each other. We are connected to a place or to places; we have written literature and oral traditions and music and poetry and art and jokes and gestures; we have a shared pride and a loyalty.

Many Jews know this, deeply and intuitively. This is the way we grew up. We would describe a fellow Jew as a “M.O.T.” — a Member of the Tribe.

I guessed you'd try to defend your disgusting anti-semitism with whataboutery. (You were referring to British Jews. Whatabatourery about Israel's actions has nothing to do with your disgusting attack on British Jews. By definition, they are not Israeli).

I didn't expect you to provide a link to double down on the fact that you are anti-semetic, to confirm that you were specifically referring to all Jews as a Tribe, so that when you referred to an abhorrent tribe, you were indeed saying that all Jews are Abhorrent. That is disgusting anti-semitism.

It's good to see that your disgusting post has been removed. There should be no place for such naked racism in civilised discussion.

Any post that hive minds all Jews in my opinion shouldn't be allowed as I believe this to be antisemitic.

This has been done multiple times by pro-Israeli supporters on this very thread. Do you agree that these should also be removed?

We're on the same page so.

What Israel is doing to it's neighbors is a disgrace, I agree with almost all the experts that have spoken out that it is a genocide.

It's equally a disgrace their leaders and enablers havent been arrested and put on trial in the Hague.

Despite my anger with this, it doesn't justify collapsing the actions of a state into Jews as a whole. Describing Jews as a “brutal tribe” is plainly discriminatory and wrong.

Tribe or no, Jews are not a hive mind, not a state, and not collectively responsible for Israel’s conduct - it's government and military are. Over half of Jews live outside Israel, have no more control over its policies than you are me, and many are openly horrified by what is being done.

Condemn state crimes all you want, but blaming Jews isn't right.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,408 ✭✭✭✭Grayson

What do you mean allowing them to land? Are you saying they shouldn't be allowed to land? they should shoot up the boat and drown them before they make it to shore?

Or is it that they are allowed make an application for asylum after they land? Because they are allowed to under international law. There's nothing wrong with that. Most countries allow that.

Now the difference with the US is that they are banning certain countries. And they're even giving preference to certain groups like white south Africans.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,486 ✭✭✭Miniegg

    Good stuff.

There are a lot of pro IDF posters on here who equally collapse Jewish identity together with the Israeli state, tell us Israel "speaks and acts for Jews" or that speaking out against Israeli state warcrimes and genocide is antisemetic

This is the exact same thing as the post you had issue with (as I did).

Although the motivations are different - one to bash all Jews, the other to use all Jews as a collective shield against Israeli war criminals being held accountable - the affect is the same, hive minding and collective blaming of Jews.

[...]The proposed ‘International Peace Council’ is not a technical mechanism for post-war administration. It is an attempt to redefine who has the right to determine Gaza’s future. Strikingly, the council’s charter does not mention Gaza at all, suggesting that the enclave is merely a pilot project for a new political architecture — a parallel framework to the United Nations, led by Washington and designed to project American influence beyond traditional institutions.

[...] Rather than Gaza being addressed through the Security Council, the issue is now being handled by ad hoc alliances, political loyalties and transactional interests. If this model is successful, it could set a precedent for other conflicts, replacing international legitimacy with the legitimacy of power and international law with political deals. [...]

[...]. The United Nations — once the natural venue for any discussion on Gaza — has become incapable of enforcing its resolutions or even upholding the symbolic weight of international law. This vacuum enables Washington to propose an alternative framework and simultaneously allows Netanyahu to dismiss it. The council is being born into a fractured global order: it has no roots, no moral authority and no enforcement tools. The paradox is clear: the United States wants to fill the vacuum, but Israel benefits from it more than it fears it.

    SeanW,

^^^ That's a wild statement. ^^^ Israelis are welcome…. Below you will find some examples:

There’s an October 2025 Knesset Report revealing Israelis are leaving in droves and not wanting to return. They can see the writing on the wall of a never-ending war.

    Their Concerns

THE PLANNED JUDICIAL OVERHAUL UNDERMINED DEMOCRACY

    FYI
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Israeli_judicial_reform
"The 2023 Israeli judicial reform is a set of five changes to the judicial system and the balance of powers in Israel that were proposed in January 2023. The intent of the measures is to curb the judiciary's influence over lawmaking and public policy by limiting the Supreme Court's power to exercise judicial review, granting the government control over judicial appointments and limiting the authority of its legal advisors.[1] The effort was led by Yariv Levin (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice) and Simcha Rothman (Chair of the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee).

"The Supreme Court has, for several decades, assumed the right to declare Knesset legislation unconstitutional. The reform would permit the Knesset to override such a ruling by reintroducing the legislation and approving it with a majority of Knesset members. The reform would additionally diminish the ability of courts to conduct judicial review of the Basic Laws and change the makeup of the Judicial Selection Committee, so that control over the appointment of judges is effectively given to the government.[2][3]

Disgruntled Israelis feel the atrocities of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 exposed the National Zionism government’s broken covenant to protect its citizens. They no longer feel safe.

They are discontented about the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Netanyahu’s 7-front war, financial hardship due to the consequences of the ongoing genocide... high cost of living crisis, political divisions...

They feel distressed about Israel’s future (bleak, hopeless) ...

"Only government policy that implements a concept of distributive justice in the state budget will help build the resilience of Israeli society and allow hundreds of thousands of families to realize their basic right to live with dignity."

    OCTOBER 2025 KNESSET REPORT

'Tsunami’ of citizens chose to leave Israel in past years, Knesset report reveals’

"Israel’s population decreased by 29,700 citizens due to emigration; in 2023, by 58,600 people; and in 2024, up to August, by 36,900 Israelis," a Knesset Research and Information Center member said.

    Continuous increase in Israelis leaving

‘Looking to escape war at home, Israelis seek refugee status in Portugal’

‘As the Israel-Hamas conflict stretches into its 11th month, locals looking to flee its physical and economic perils find a shortcut – albeit temporary – in applying for EU asylum’

PORTO, Portugal — Since the Hamas onslaught of October 7, Nufar Bar, an Israeli immigration lawyer living in Porto, has seen a nonstop flow of requests from Israelis seeking refugee status.

“We get them almost every day,” said Bar, who works with the Portuguese law firm Cotarelli e Rodrigues helping Israelis move abroad.

“Portugal offers many options for those seeking to immigrate, but Bar has found that many Israelis choose to apply as refugees through the asylum application process in Portugal as detailed by the UNHCR.

    Refugee Sponsorship Programmes [Canada]
    https://www.unhcr.org/il/en/refugee-sponsorship-programmes-unhcr-israel

“Canada has a well-established private sponsorship programme for refugees. The programme allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents the opportunity to sponsor a refugee to come to Canada, thereby offering refugees worldwide protection and a new home. Sponsors commit to providing financial and emotional support to refugees during their first year in Canada.

SeanW, I think countries should be welcoming those Israelis who want to leave. You could look up other examples. Would you be willing to sponsor an Israeli? To be involved as a community sponsor / host families to help Israeli refugees settle? It would be very rewarding.

So the nuclear armed state specifically set up as a Jewish ethno state is seeing Jewish people flee to European countries that are constantly portrayed, even in recent days, as endemically antisemitic?

Might be no harm if the jew people came out en masse and condemned Israel for the genocide it is committing on the Palestinian people. Then I would believe the jew is sickened with what is happening. At the moment all that is missing in Gaza are the crematorium chimneys.
