I decided after Christmas that I was only buying a takeaway coffee before work and not a pastry as has become a habit since around October, prior to then I just usually just got the coffee. I'd say ive only managed to do it once but yesterday I was absolutely determined, even reminding myself whilst queuing . So htf did I end up with a chocolate croissant as well which was absolutely delicious but it's like I ordered it against my will and it wasn't really my fault.

So I'm just about to head off now for coffee and tbh I know I'll order another treat..why can't I be disciplined or have even a smidge of willpower. It's so f*ing annoying.

Just about to post and couldn't see last post so deborking time is on us again.

My TA is people that can't be organised enough to finish one strip of tablets before starting another.

Family all ill today and when digging out the Paracetamol and Ibuprofen found boxes where every strip had had a couple of tablets taken out of them.

I hate it when you're about to sneeze and breathe in sharply two or three times but you just can't get to the sneezing point. Bonus annoyance points if you end up yawning instead.

Literally just happened to me there, and happens at least once a day too.

My TA: the re-adjusting of my body clock this week as I work nights. Tiredness isn't an issue during the shift, but am afraid I'll oversleep when I go back to bed and my eating is a bit skewed as well.

My husband usually only eats a single slice of bread at lunch - a half sandwich if you like - he folds the bread in half over his filling. Today he started eating the sandwich from the open side instead of the folded side.

After the duvet debacle I'm honestly considering divorcing the man. He must be a psychopath!

That time when you have a door in the house that sitting slightly ajar. And there is a draught from an open window somewhere else, and the door keeps moving back and forward and doesnt have the energy to actually close itself, it just bangs gently, doing my head in.

And I haven't the energy to get off the seat to close it!

Aunt is loaded yet let her house go to bits, it needs rewiring, re-insulating and a new heating system.

She’s reclusive / odd, yet the auld miser now calling asking my Dad and my cousin to do temporary repairs they aren’t qualified for (involving electricity,😵‍💫) while shes sat on a fortune. Dad pulled her on it and is told straight her priority is leaving any money to her daughters, no issue saying this yet expecting a man in his 80’s to be down in his overalls with his workbench pissing about with electricity for them.. 🤪. He refused politely.

I hate it when you're cooking your dinner and you've been watching the pot like a hawk but something more important/urgent demands your attention. You ensure there's still plenty of liquid left, you give it a stir, put the lid on, lower the heat as much as possible… and even if you are away for less than 2 minutes you come back and find the food sizzling ominously and it's more "golden brown" than you'd like it. 😕

At least this time it's still edible and not positively cremated, if a tad on the "smoky" side, but FFS…

Last year I needed new glasses and treated myself to a pair that cost a lot more than I have ever paid for glasses before. The TA is that last week I noticed one of the arms is a bit floppy and broken and they keep slipping down my nose 😏 Optician was very helpful and new arm/frames should be on the way soon and free under warranty but in the meantime I feel like they are going to break every time I touch them

I've said this before, but wtf takes so many drivers so long to turn left??? In particular the one from Merrion St. onto Baggot St. Lower. Mother of god, some people'd get out and push their car around the corner faster. It drives me demented. That's a short enough light sequence to begin with, would yiz all for the love of criminy just fookin MOVE!!!

I've been using low fat philadelphia for years in recipes. I just so happened to look at the back of the pack of Garlic & Herb Philadelphia this lunchtime and realised that this one is 1calorie lower in fat than the low fat one. WTAF? A tiny bit higher in salt and sugar but who the **** would use a low fat one when the normal one is actually better? I am ragin.
