Hopped onto this series as it appeared in the Top10. James Nesbit and Ruth Jones are both pretty good actors in my opinion.
However, it soon became apparent the acting from the top stars was not great and getting worse with virtually every scene.
I gave up after the third episode.
Come across Nesbit doing the promo rounds on various shows but surely he must know he was not at his best on this one. Is it a case now where actors just take the money and to hell with the quality?
Anyone else watched it? What did you think?

Even by Harlan Coben's low standards, this is poor. The plot is ridiculous and the acting is weak.

Absolute rubbish, piss poor acting, ridiculous plot but I binged the lot and its very entertaining I will say.

Yes. In spite of Nesbitt, it's not all bad and the episode-cliffhanging enders keep you watching the next one. The plot is nicely twisty with some red herrings, and Ruth Jones' character is quite good, as are the villainous Bonnie-and-Clyde couple. Worth a watch.

Finished it last night and yes you could pick a pile of holes in it but despite the flaws it's entertaining enough. I, for one, didn't expect that twist right at the end and my favourite character was probably the very unsettling Dee/Holly.
