Water Softener Replacement

I have an old cabinet style water softener in the garage that has seen better days.
Happy to DIY install a new one as all the pipes etc are already there, done plenty DIY plumbing and I'm happy to program configure etc as necessary.

Anyone have an recommendations for a decent brand or supplier without installation?

Had my softener shît itself (filter in the resin tank failed - resin made it's way into the house) during the summer and found many of the irish suppliers a PAIN to deal with - they just dodn't want to be dealing with joe-public… almost like the plumbers and installers must be contacted direct.

In the end I got the parts from WrekinWater in the UK (shipped to a mate up north and collected). They sell full systems.

Cheers I've the same resin beads in the house, lots of filter unclogging done here.
As the unit is so old I'm just going to buy a whole new unit rather than trying to buy parts.
Just hard to discern online a quality softener (that you will get parts for in future) versus some cheap unit that won't be servicable in future.

Based in Meath and sell parts, do drilling etc… so safe to assume they'd sort you in the future.
