MM , you as a military man , I am very disappointed with the spin you put on what happened . Here is another ‘spin ‘ if you will allow me . The driver could have gone straight for the fellow who fired three shots at her and if she did she would more than likely be alive today. BUT instead she turned right so as to avoid him. If you examine the footage in minute detail you should note that nobody was knocked down or for that matter stumbled or grazed by the vehicle . I will agree that the shooter was standing in front of her bumper but how far was he from the front of her bumper and how long was he standing there before the Vehicle passed him by without touching him. The circumstantial evidence will show that as the drier passed him out he had the ‘presence of mind’ to fire, his body stance allowed him to to get off THREE shots. He also shot her as she was passing him out BECAUSE if he shot her While looking at her face while standing in front of the car he would also be badly injured if not dead

Erm. She did drive into the fellow who shot, though? The video shown by ABC News shows him being pushed back before to the side. The fact that her turning radius was insufficient to avoid him is irrelevant.

Look, I'll agree he shouldn't have been there in the first place. As I mentioned above, we should be training police not to put their squishy bodies right in front of a car and triggering a situation which will result in lethal force being used. But that's irrelevant to what happened once he was there. The US legal system is filled with plenty of precedent, some quite internationally famous like Rittenhouse and Zimmerman, where people made a foolish error in judgement, but that has no relevance to the legality of the situation.

Military men also tend to be cogniscant of "whatever sort of an idea this is, it can get me killed, so maybe I'd better not do it if I've a choice"

While I find this level of brutality horrendous, I tend to agree that it is not out of the ordinary for law enforcement in the US. Honestly I'd be in slow motion if I was over there and had any encounter with law enforcement.

No-one knows name, race, background of victim yet. But Trump is labelling her a Radical left terrorist, as is Kirsti Noem.

If the story changes tomorrow that she was a white, died in the wool Republican voter, that labelling back fires.

If she's a purple haired, Guatemalan illegal, Trump et al will double down.

But the car involved screams suburban Mom, is covered in those stickers that usually say things like Proud Mom of a soccer player (could just as easily say I love Mexico) - so it's a risky gamble to start throwing up labels, but once identity is known, the real spin and attacks will begin

She was shot in the face for driving at a federal agent. Arguably a poorly-trained federal agent who shouldn't have been standing in front of the vehicle in the first place, but there he was anyway, and it's a known likely, and a legally justifiable response in to shoot in such a situation.

This is a part of the US system which has long been the case in the US, far older than 'this fascist regime.' You don't have to like it, you do have to accept it.

I think you might find that the actual scene is best shown on the video link I posted. I believe that the photo image in your post is of the shooter before the other ice agent approached her car and tried to open her car door, after which she drove her car around the car with the open door, a distance away from the shooter standing way clear of her her as she drove past him. I think the shooter is the same person in your blurred photo image which gives the wrong impression that he was being struck by her car but it was, in reality, taken at time when she and her car were being approached by the first ICE agent.

Oner thing which I rely on is the Trump admin line that an ICE agent was run over by the dead woman before the shooting and he was hospitalized with the injuries he suffered in being run over. The shooter was standing upright when he fired at her. For a person allegedly run over or hit by the woman using her car, he sure didn't seem injured. He seems to have walked up to an ICE car, got into it and disappeared from the scene of the shooting. There were no fellow agents running up to a supposedly driven-over and injured agent in the video shot at the time to render aid etc to him [in the video whatsoever] which would have been the instinctive and trained thing for them to do.

I'll leave it here if you don't mind as I believe the truth of what happened will come out in the wash. At the moment I hope Minneapolis doesn't turn into another George Floyd scenario. Time to pay attention to what Trump is up to and is actually doing while we are looking at Minnesota.

Slow motion video shows she turned the wheels of the car to the right and was trying to turn while attempting to leave. She did not drive 'at' him. If the shooting was 'justified', how come the killer ends up completely uninjured and the driver dead? No evidence that the shooting had any material impact in preventing the killer from being injured.
