Road Dogg has history of being a dickhead about wrestlers that don't fit his mould and I feel that is evident on the show. Having DIY vs Fraxiom for example, out of nowhere, to absolute crickets. And a botched mask off finish no less where the shoulders weren't down.

It's strange to me that Triple H gives him so much responsibility to handle these guys. Even outside of friendship, HHH has shown he's able to book a multitude of wrestlers well. You would think he would hand that edict down, no questions asked.

Is this the ideal time to bring someone forward? As one of, if not the great steps away, in the period the build up to Mania begins and offers to the opportunity to be seen as a big deal to the most people?

I often think phat Mania there is a lull and people get lot between then and Summerslam. We are conditioned to think runs like Priest or Jay as Champion don't really matter.

Hopefully he can put one great performance Saturday as there is something special about his persona/aura

I enjoyed the Melo victory. The US title run certainly reintroduced Dragunov well and now Melo gets a shot in a more prominent role.

With the move to three hours coming Smackdown needs the boost of those guys and maybe more (Trick, Oba?).

Best Smackdown in a long time, needed to be good as well to make the jump to 3 hours, so let's see if it can keep that momentum (probably not).

Cardona coming back, happy for the guy but not that interested either, we'll see where he goes from here.

Trick Williams looked an absolute star, they've got something here if they don't mess it up.

Jordynne Grace is a good addition to the roster, Smackdown definitely needs more women who are believable as a threat.

Carmelo could really shine as a champ and keeping the open challenge is a good call. Hoping that they actually do something worthwhile with Giulia this time around.

The Black/Priest feud is finally (hopefully) over, dragged on far too long but I thought the match itself was pretty fun. Not sure what of note they'll do with either of them though.

The Drew/Cody promos were awesome, although the 3 stages stipulations are pretty boring outside of the cage. I'd love a Drew win but I know by now not to get my hopes up.

I assume Melo will mostly be fighting the same guys Ilja fought but with Cardona and finally Trick in there.

As much as it might help Giulia to do an open challenge, who could she have matches with that would come close to the men's? But as long as they actually have her fight this time.

4 weeks out from the Rumble, who will fight Cody at the Rumble since I assume next week will be the end of Drew//Cody. Though with only 2 weeks to build then (since it's unlikely a new opponent will be set up next week), it may be Drew again.

That's assuming Rhodes'll be in a title match at all. Berlin might be his big January event show with Rumble being to pull a face at the winner.

It's a wonder Trick's mouth can run at all in those heels.

Give Orton x15 then drop it at WM?

I don't watch the House of Saud shows anyway but I like this trend of no obvious Rumble match winner.

Would like to keep Cody away from the title now and freshen up the main event. Give a few other people the opportunity to step up. I'd actually like Orton to get the gold again at some point as he's just meandering at the moment

Cody in my own opinion needs to turn heel and could benefit down the line having a faction behind him

I just don't get Cody at all his promos are the same generic terrible slock his in ring is bland. Happy for Drew but can’t see him holding it long.
