Cooker oven not working

I've got a Leisure Cookmaster CK110F232 dual fuel range cooker. The fan assisted oven is not working in any capacity - interior light not illuminating, fan not activating, heating element not warming up - when the control dial is turned on.

The display is illuminated and working. The conventional oven is working correctly - light illuminating and element warning up.

I'm guessing that the thermal fuse has gone. Is there anything else that I can check before going through the hassle of dragging out this cooker to check the fuse at the rear?

This is quite a big cooker - any tips on how to drag it out without wrecking myself, the cooker or the adjacent cabinets and tiled floor? There is also a safety chain on the read of the cooker.

    Any advice appreciated.

I don't know that one but it's 100kg. I would be going to my local pub and asking for their keg trolley if I had to lift it.

I have repaired a few of my own ovens and it tends to be a heating element on the electric ones. A few of them have been accessed by removing the fan blade by undoing a simple nut (check distance) and a couple of screws on the front panel. Check your distance of the fan on the central spine before removal so it doesn't go in wrong place when putting it back. That allowed me disconnect the element behind that and pull through the wire connector.

Youtube does a version of that replacement. Looks even simpler than mine and worth seeing if it's shorted.before going to lift.

Thanks for the reply. I've returned to report that it is working again after I cycled the power switch to the cooker.

Not sure why this fixed the problem or what the problem even was. Thoughts?

But thankfully no need to do anything rash to fix it!

Pardon me if I'm being obvious, but could it be that the timer was set accidentally. I know in my much smaller oven it's possible to get the timer into a mode that won't allow the oven to come on.

I'm not sure. I don't think the timer is linked to the ovens - there is a fan assisted oven and a conventional oven. I think the timer runs independent of the ovens, but something was cleared when the power was cycled, so I don't know 100%.

I don't think there was any indication on the display that a timer was active.

I think you should read the manual. The timer is directly linked to the ovens. I believe that's your problem.
