Do Sky block ports 27250, 27251, 16101

I'm considering switching to Sky broadband (FTTH), and have been checking for any pitfalls regarding connectivity/configuration. It looks like splitting wifi bands and renaming SSID's will not be a problem. Also setting up some port forwarding should be ok. It seems IP and MAC bonding will not be possible so will have to rely on DHCP address reservation.

But I have read of cases where the Huawei SUN2000 Solar PV inverter connectivity to Huawei servers seemed to be blocked by Sky Hub, ports 27250, 27251, 16101 on TCP were mentioned.

Does anyone know if Sky block these ports and if so, will they open them on request?

I thought you were going to use your own router? Just connect it directly to the ONT and select PPPoE. VLAN ID 10 is also needed.

I am, and since posting this I have confirmed with someone who has a Huawei Solar inverter that while they could not get the inverter to communicate with Huawei's datacentre using the Sky Hub, it would work ok when he swapped back in his old Vodafone router. So I would be hopeful that my router that has worked with Vodaphone and Eir, will work with Sky.
