Are you not ignoring the actual evidence of genocide being committed by Israel?

Seems there’s more hypocrisy going on there Sean.

So, looks like CFTrump is a spoofer but also making alleged War Criminal #1 (at large) pucker up at the mere mention of the US being friendly with Syria and Turkey.

    Haaretz:

    • Asked whether Netanyahu should be pardoned in his criminal corruption trial, Trump said that he spoke to Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who told him that "a pardon is on the way." Trump also said Netanyahu has done "a phenomenal job" as a wartime prime minister and that Israel "would not exist" without him, but also said that Netanyahu can be difficult on occasion. Herzog's office denied any conversation was held between the two since the pardon request was submitted.
    • Trump said he has a "great relationship" with Turkey's President Erdogan and that Turkey's participation in the Gaza cease-fire plan would be discussed with Netanyahu.
    • Trump said that he hoped Netanyahu would "get along with Syria, because the new president of Syria is working very hard to do a good job." Trump said that Syrian President Ahamd Al-Shara is "a tough cookie, you're not going to get a choir boy to lead Syria."

Not sure why the judiciary was getting so outraged at Smotrich. He's been at the violent rhetoric for years. No surprise he's flying the "murder" kite.

Speaking at a meeting of his far-right Religious Zionism party, Finance Minister Smotrich called Supreme Court President Yitzhak Amit "a violent, ruthless, megalomaniac."

Smotrich accused Amit "stealing Israeli democracy ... allowing himself to do things that have never been done before," and threatened that "the result will be that we will run him over. There will be no choice."

Israel's judiciary responded by saying "statements expressing threats toward judges are not part of legitimate discourse. These are extremely serious remarks, intended solely to fuel violent and inciting rhetoric against the judiciary and its head, especially when made by an elected official."

The brain drain in full flight…

Economy falling like a stone. Senior execs voting with their feet.

    Haaretz:

    • Requests by Israeli employees at multinational tech firms to relocate abroad have risen by 53 percent over the past year, according to the Israel Advanced Technology Industries Association, particularly among senior executives and families.

Hypocrisy? You mean, like not caring about "genocide" until you need a stick to beat Jews with? Kind of like what tayto_lover is doing here:

Your false claims of anti-semitism have long been noted and discounted.

Ok, how about "only pretending to care about genocide when you need a stick to beat Israelis?" If your position on genocide was consistent, then condemning tayto's post would be a straightforward matter.

    from Dr. Razy Baroud

Israel is a European offspring, the hideous creation of Western imperialism and colonialism. It is settler-colonialism in its ugliest manifestation, where the natives are not even allowed to serve the role of the inferior, the collective servant of Westerners and their fraudulently superior culture. In the Israeli settler-colonial model, Palestinians are to be eliminated, as exemplified by David Ben-Gurion, the primary architect of the Zionist project in Palestine and the first prime minister of Israel, when he stated that “the Arabs must go (or we must expel the Arabs), but one needs an opportune moment for making it happen, such as a war.”

Nobody is talking about a stick except you. Is the stick to rape them anally like they do to Palestinian hostages? What about a mushroom cloud to change the situation on the ground, would that be going too far even for Israel?

@SeanW I can't believe you are still at this craic.

These crimes are real. The evidence is enormous. Almost all humanitarian NGOs, even in Israel, are telling us what this is. Almost all international medical groups. Almost all organisations specializing in international law, scholars specializing in Genocide, UN special committees etc. It is unprecedented that they could all be getting it wrong, unless you can show me any such case?

We have heard and we have read hundreds of murderous statements from Israeli politicians, hundreds have been submitted to the ICJ. Do you genuinely not know this?

You can't be so naive to believe at the v minimum ethnic cleansing is not taking place given all we know, nor expect anybody else to be so naive. How do you explain the starvation campaign? The settlements in the West bank? All these things, and many many more, going on that go against your whole feeble narrative, it's just not credible.

And lastly, you cannot say that Jews worldwide are not Israel as you did on that Bondi thread (I agree with you), and then claim that criticism of Israel’s crimes is an attack on Jews. Those two positions contradict each other.

Why do you continue to collapse the Jewish identity into Israeli state violence? Do you really want them to get away with it so much that you would throw innocent Jews under the bus to facilitate it?

Good article from the Beeb on Israel recognising "Somaliland".

One quote particularly stood out for its utter hypocrisy:

"In a phone call with Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi on Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country was acknowledging Somaliland's "right of self-determination"."

You seem to be like a dog with a bone about a poster's post. In another thread too, I think.

Rather than trying to garner support from other posters to condemn a third party, which I think is despicable behaviour, you should take it up with the originating poster - not poll others into excoriating another poster.

Your deflections appear to be increasingly irrational to say the least.

To be crystal clear, Russia is not before the ICJ accused of committing Genocide.

Israel is before the ICJ accused of committing Genocide - a case taken by South Africa and supported by 12 other Parties with a further 2 having asked permission to intervene.

@tayto lover's post is correct. No party has accused Russia of committing Genocide.

The UN, the ICC,The Hague need to stand up and deal with the crimes.

To be honest, I doubt you'll get a reply to all your pertinent points.

I did ask why @SeanW has stated he is against War Crimes yet actively approved of the pager attack (a war crime) and supports an Israeli Govt. headed up by an alleged War Criminal.

A recent tack suggests that all Israelis are required to be within 15 seconds of a bomb shelter. I have asked 3 times if the poster lived in or visited Israel ever. I didn't get a response other than they don't currently live in Israel.

I suspect you will equally be disappointed at the lack of clarifications. But I hope I'm wrong and that poster responds.

I have no time for Russia. But they have not been cited by the ICJ for Genocide. Israel has.

    • Ordered Israel to take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of genocidal acts against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
    • Ordered Israel to prevent and punish direct and public incitement to commit genocide.
    • Demanded that Israel ensure the urgent provision of basic services and humanitarian aid to address the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
    • Ordered Israel to halt its military offensive in Rafah in May 2024, by a vote of 13-2.

For President Trump, this could end like those moments with Epstein … best deleted and erased as soon as possible 😁

There may not have been concrete deliverables on Gaza from the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, but one thing is for sure: Trump is receiving yet another trophy.

Netanyahu said he is awarding Israel's highest cultural honour, the Israel Prize, to the US president "for his tremendous contributions to Israel and the Jewish people".

It has never been awarded to a non-Israeli citizen before.

Never been awarded by an alleged War Criminal of a Genocide State.

Germany just as Israeli-loving as Britain. The Ulm 5 held in similar situation to Elbit 5. Imagine Britain and Germany arresting protesters against Russia!

UAE and Israel seem to have married each other. Secret meetings, UAE refusal to condemn recognition of Somaliland, attempted seizure of parts of Yemen to eventually facilitate Israeli military bases. The Saudis are now strongly opposing UAE in Yemen. 2026 should reveal whether Israel and the UAE can take effective control of substantial land areas in the Gulf of Aden.

I cannot control what another poster says.

I also (unlike yourself) can see a distinction between Jews as a collective and the state of Israel and the IDF.

Russia has committed war crimes and I condemn them for it. If a case of genocide is brought before the ICJ (more than likely won’t be unfortunately due to their hold over energy and US links) then we can discuss that in the appropriate thread.

There is an actual case of genocide against Israel that has been brought before the ICJ which you continue to ignore for some reason?

Benjamin Netanyahu said his country was acknowledging Somaliland's "right of self-determination".

The sheer level of disgusting hypocrisy in that is off the charts.

The Yemeni and Saudi's have given the UAE 24 hours to get troops out of the country going by the strongly worded statement from Riyadh today.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

Israelis are being indoctrinated from the cradle to the grave to hate and fear Palestinians and see them as worth less than them. They are bombarded with propoganda and fake news too.

This guy is a Palestinian who chats online to random Israelis, asks about the situation in Palestine etc. The majority of people he speaks to have been brainwashed and when asked hard questions will either hang up or blow up.

There is hope though, some, mostly younger people, still keep an open mind.

Zionism is the origin of terrorism

    https://www.trtworld.com/article/15767166

    https://www.jerusalemstory.com/en/lexicon/irgun

An underground paramilitary Zionist group that operated in Palestine during the British Mandate period. (The name is Hebrew for “organization.”) It was established in 1931 by dissident Haganah members. The British considered it a terrorist organization; the dominant Labor Zionist movement considered it a radical rival, and in 1936, it became an instrument of the Revisionist Party, an extreme nationalist party. It was responsible for about 60 terror attacks targeting both British Mandate officials and Palestinian communities.

Israel closes UNRWA office in Palestine

Israel's Knesset on 30 December formally approved legislation that immediately severs electricity and water to UNRWA offices in occupied Jerusalem, a punitive measure targeting the UN agency that serves over 110,000 Palestinian refugees in the city.
