Airlock in mains pipe? Is this possible

Recently had some work done in my house. I live in a bungalow. The mains was shut off during the work and then opened back up. My kitchen is at one end of the bungalow and the bathroom is at the opposite end. I have water at the kitchen sink but now I have no water going to the toilet cistern and bathroom sink. My storage tank in the attic is closer to the kitchen and that is filling ok. My water pressure isn't that great so I'm wondering if there's an airlock further down the pipe preventing the bathroom getting water. Could anyone tell me if that is possible and any tips to resolve it. Thank you

Are you sure no other valves were shut during the work that feeds the bathroom?

    Is this just cold water?

Bathroom would be fed from the tank - you say its filling up ok
Do you have an electric shower - that can help to force water through including air, or running both hot and cold taps in the bath together

Is there any water at all from the sink/bath even just a dribble, any noises like a hissing

Being mains fed is usually enough pressure to push through any air but if yours is really weak pressure…

Probably going to have to call a plumber out
