Terrible sad news Friday night. Sammy White passed away after battling illness bravely. Sammy was as devoted a fan as you could find and was chairman of the supporters club for years. He will be sadly missed at the RSC and by his many friends. My condolences to his lifelong partner, Laura.

Could take this side a while to find some kind of cohesion on the pitch, so many changes in this team during the Summer.

Frustrating, should have won that last night, had plenty of big chances. Amond could have had 3 but had one of those days. We're struggling for goals but at least we're still making chances.

I thought Mahon was excellent. The improvement in the defence is very noticeable so far. Wouldn't be hard though.

Had any of the chances gone in we would have pulled away. The hysterical nonsense from some clowns on Facebook and the like really isn't helping. A team takes time to gel and the really sloppy stuff from last season has been tightened up. Mahon could be a huge player this season.

On the other hand it's just mind boggling that we still don't have a right back. Apart from anything else, I really liked Heeney in midfield last season and looked forward to see him playing there.

Complete collapse at 2-2 although they were going well until Duffy decided to be brilliant, that second goal was unreal. Then the bad luck with Cartys shot off the inside of the post.

There was a stage in the game when it was 2-1 and we needed a clam head in the middle to just move the ball around but we just had noone to do it, everything went long and Derry kept retaining possession.

Terrible start, they need to start putting 90mins together. Didn't turn up for the first half against Bohs.

I love all this nonsense talk it’s all on the manager there’s still some good players on this team . As usual the owners went cheap on recruitment and this is where we are . It’s just a complete waste of time if you don’t assemble a squad to challenge for Europe . If they just continue that policy you eventually get relegated .
