I had covid for a couple of weeks and Coral Island was about the only game I could manage. Also happy to see Rocket League on the way out, haven't played it in months and no intention of going back to it (still no PS5 version). Satisfactory creeping in, would be higher but im taking a break from the straight 60 hours i put into it.

Think my hours are down some bit. Nice bit of variety this year.

Edit: Exact same hours in 2022!

Forgot this was coming out, waited up past midnight for the stock levels on Smyths to go live as I wanted to click and collect before work but it was showing delivery only so I ordered it. After I did it went back to out of stock with the "more stock due" then it went to fully out of stock and now isn't on their website so I'd say there's probably no stock this side of the year.

Looking forward to the career mode. Had FS2020 on PC but didn't spend a lot of time with it as I'm not mad on playing on the PC. Much prefer the big screen and couch experience. My sister managed to nab a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS that her job were getting rid of so I'm gonna give that a go.

Genuinely surprised to see it was one of the Xbox games being released on PS5, even more surprised that it got a physical release when Forza Horizon 5 didn't. I would have thought Flight Sim was far too niche for a physical release.

How do you get this information. Maybe I've turned off something when setting up my PS. Also I notice the time on PS screen per game seems wrong a lot of the time.

My Top 5 PS time guzzlers 2025

God of War Ragnarok was a real grind at times but still very enjoyable. RE2 is the best game I've played in a long time. Skyrim, because Skyrim. AC Valhalla was getting to and trying the Ireland Expansion. Beautiful looking game, but bland. Rachet&Clank spectacular graphically, but pretty average game.

Was some other games that I expected to see here like Astro Bot and Prince of Persoa... but that was last year !! Time flies !!

Jesus that's unreal if true. I've been mad to try art of really and infinite wealth looks like a good laugh. A quiet place looks interesting even if it didn't score well and the mud runner game could be fun as well.

Sony seems to be clearing alot of the shovelware, 1 minute plat games from the PSN store finally. This should've been happening all along.

Crazy that many was just 1 publisher. Next up, get rid of those CGI Labs SRL and associated "devs". Saw a reddit post about them recently, they have lots of different names, all ai generated and a lot are straight up stolen from indie devs. Their crap is peppering the coming soon section.

Can't link reddit, but just search cgi labs srl and pick the reddit post Beware Of These Scam Publishers. Very detailed self promoting post that everyone should read/share.

Seems to be offers on PS Plus at the minute if you cancel. My sub was up around the valentines sale(33% off) last year. But not sure if thats happening this year and also not sure if the free 5 days i got for the outage will put me outside the sale.

I hit cancel on the ps app and got a "claim 25%" offer.

Rumours a PS Portal Oled is being announced and released this year. Was tempted to get one when they were on sale over the Xmas but glad I waited now.

Would be great if there was a 500gb HD on it but thats highly unlikely.

It can "technically" play games, it was hacked to play old psp games. But it's never going to play anything recent. It's a streaming machine but it does that really well.

But an OLED seems over kill, the screen is still the best on the market. Way nicer than the steam deck or switch 2. But I'd 100% but one of they did release it.
