I have been to numerous shows where that is the case in there.

For the majority of rock or rock adjacent acts seats aren't typically the priority.

They actually have various variations on the floor too but standing was fully open.

Delighted to hear the band were great and everybody who was there enjoyed the gig. I was tempted but travelling from Clare at this time of year and the fact that the new album hasn't really clicked with me (yet), I decided against it. My loss…

Yeah, I've seen a good bit smaller crowds in recent years for The Smile and Bloc Party. Really you can tell by how far back standing is busy and it was busy back to underneath the balcony. Indie bands in general attract a younger audience and seated tickets only sell out after the standing ones are gone.

Great gig as others have said, I've never seen them before and her voice and stage presence is really something to see. She's a proper rock star in fairness to her. No White Leather but then they very rarely play that anymore 😪

I'd say there's a good shot out there somewhere of her with the Tricolour at the end. And the bit of Gaeilge too like a proper London Irish girl!

The first layer of tiered seating was open, and about 80% full, just not the second layer.

Out of a 14,500 capacity in that configuration, I'd say there were 8,000 or so there.

yeah, second tier of seats is about 3500 , first tier is about 4000 and then standing is 5500 depending on the stage set up

I thought the standing capacity is ~7k with the seats starting at row 21 ?

on that basis I'd 8,000 there.

Unbelievably good gig, can't believe it's taken me so long to see them. What a force of nature Ellie is - incredible front woman.

For Turnstile they purposely had no seats even go on sale.

Read somewhere 5.8-6 for it but can't recall if that's what they could sell or how many was there on the night.

Yeah I was in the first row of seats and it was row 21

There was people seated, not many but they were there, when they moved venue they put everyone on the floor but i know of two that requested seats as they wanted them from the original gig, plus the wheelchair users can only go upstairs, which is ridiculous in this day and age that they cant have a small platform beside the sound desk for wheelchair and access users instead of making them feel a million miles away when the seating is virtually empty

Brilliant show! I've seen them a few times, originally in New York 8 years ago, and they have progressed hugely. They were brilliant live back then, but they've taken it to another level now. I was seated (due to issues with standing too long) and the seated area was almost full - only seats left at the very edges, where no one would want to sit anyway.

I put a few videos on YouTube, including Don't Delete the Kisses, where the Irish flag was featured - https://youtu.be/U1gDXUC3Taw
