I am on the look out for a Hybrid/petrol car, medium to large size, nothing to small. Anyway would be looking to do hp or pcp depending on what deal is on offer? Could anyone give me some advice on this. Looking at the dacia bigster but dont know much about this brand. Thanks

    Whats your budget.

The KIA Sportage is very good. The Dad has one.

Its not cheap though. The days of cheap Kias or Hyundais are gone.

Do you want something that is nice to drive or is it just as a means of A to B and you do not care how it drives as long as it gets you there.

I take it you are not fussed about brands and are not a snob.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Nice car but the budget is €20,000 to €30,000.

We recently looked at many cars, all phev's. As we are in the countryside and do Galway to Kildare at least once a month and often there and back in one day. Wife has back problems so kinda had to sit in a lot of cars to get one that suited her so we visited a lot of different dealers, Toyota and Suzuki offer 10yr warranty, kia 7yrs and Hyundai 5yrs Honda 2yrs and I think Ford are 3yrs, obv there are terms and conditions but the longer warrantys are not to be sniffed at if you thinking of keeping the car long term.

Of all the cars we looked at, the Toyota corolla cross is prob the best bang for buck imo, it's marginally smaller then a RAV4 not as refined maybe as the rav, but 10 grand cheaper like for like then the rav. We would have bought one only my wife could not get comfortable in either of the two Toyota mentioned.

Suzuki vitara's are about 31k new for the base model. 2yr old models with good spec could be gotten well within your budget and you would still have 8yrs warranty on it.
