Is this not where i set the account location to Turkey or does it happen later in the process?

Edit, now I see, it's this field that sets the location

Trying to set up the iTunes method on friends phone... have created account loaded it with lire. But when I open the app to renew its coming up we couldn't verify your country .. I went to the app store to try to activate it from there but as I never purchased on iPhone before nothing there... any help appreciated

Click country options and select Ireland and then drop the 353 in the next field

Very easy. I'd never used an ios product before and even I was able to get it working. A no-brainier if you want YouTube Premium and have access to an iphone imho.

I started off in Argentina in 2021. I setup a new Google account in Argentina . Then when that stopped, I went to Peru then Romania. Then when they kicked me out of Romania, they suggested I sub in Argentina as thats when the Google account is based. So I did and it works and is cheaper then Peru and Romania, Been in Argentina the past 3 or 4 months. They do cancel a few days later but the sub works till the end of the period for which I've paid. Then when the sub expires ,I just resub in Argentina again.

Will be interesting to see what happens at the end of this paid period as I also got the email that states that im not watching youtube where I should be.

just found the iPhone link, my current sub is going until dec 4th so I’m guessing I wait for that to expire and then crack on, just wondering is turgame via turkey the best option for now ?

If we subscribe to a cheaper EU state, poland for example, isnt there an EU Freedom of services provision that means we are allowed to get service from poland as part of intra-community trade. in other words, i think the EU want to encourage cross border trade so we should be allowed to get a service from poland.

Ignore, can get family. Guide I was reading was quoting individual plan. But family plan is available.

So got to wait till my sub is cancelled next month, login with a new Turkey Apple ID and add gift cards. Then re-sub to YouTube premium. All sounds start forward enough!

Re: Poland, you would think so. Consumers should be able to shop around.

But this is Google, they didn't get that size without knowing how to sell you something you could well do without.

Would probably use regional rights to programmes, music etc as the excuse to defend their revenues.

I've been in Poland since Jan this year after I was evicted after many years in India. Price increased at the end of May from 47 PLN to 60 PLN for the family plan which I didn't acknowledge at the time so my account was cancelled but resubbed after and it's been easy going since. Worked out at €14.33 this month which is obviously not the cheapest option but sticking with it for now for ease of use.
Have read of some users here though being evicted from Poland. If that happens will get getting my hands on an Apple device and trying Turkey.

Hi Folks enjoying the itunes method and works perfect just one prob is seem to be only doing monthly and have to go back every month to renew after it expires,couldn't see the longer term option i had enough balance too for it but gave in and just went monthly again last time,a bit over the whole process every few weeks where should i be looking for the 3/6 month option,thanks

Have spent hours to reactivate my membership through Turkey iTunes today,have got so close but it won’t process the payment now with the iTunes balance I have just topped with,have checked all settings on payment setting on phone and am logged in still on Turkish App Store,any suggestions?

Balance is T1,500 just won’t process and keeps bringing this error up,have tried on both phones

In the App Store go to your Subscription & re-activate there, not the YT app.
