Russia has now given IT’s 28 point plan to the US that will bring the SMO to an end. In order to bring a ‘bit of balance ‘ to the process of being an end to the war Trump should now invite the Ukr to submit its ‘28 point ‘ plan

Monseiur , your post gives a fairly detailed side of the Ukr position re its leader, his character, his laughable skills in the context of being a national leader, corruption, etc.

I am now looking forward to your post on Putin and covering the same areas. It should not take you long because Putin has been in poser - and around power for so long that you are ‘spoiled’ with reams of information , documents, knowledge, press conferences, etc, etc, etc.

“Both sides” how very neutral sounding.

Alas here I come to ruin it all yet again by asking if you any objection or comment on the Russian practice of bombing Ukrainian children in their beds. Care to offer your input…or shall we allow the embrace of silence to illustrate a picture of…”neutrality”

Can we get an update from the concerned when they see nuclear weapons flying overhead towards Ukraine?

Would love it if this was Zelensky's response to Trump's peace plan.

My hope is that in future the “Nuts” note to the Nazi Germans will share its category in war history with the following Ukrainian reply to a facist invader:

    IMG_1027.jpeg

This is what we must say to Nazism..in all its forms.

I'm not sure about morons. I tend to see them as grotesquely sociopathic and divisive. Some of them seem to see this war as a board game to be played as realpolitik with no regard for moral concerns.

It looks like history is starting up again.

He must have just forgotten the second half of the document containing the input from the Ukranian side. How careless of him!

"...achieving a durable peace will require both sides to agree to difficult but necessary concessions.."

Where are the Russian concessions in this so called peace plan? Rubio can't even come up with a half credible lie, much like the RF trolls in this thread.

There are parallels with Trumps approach to the USSR in the 1980s. He put out paid ads criticising the Reagan administration on a range of issues including Reagans willingness to stand up to the USSR and criticised US money supposedly going to allies. This came after his 1987 visit to Moscow, about which there have been rumours for 38 years.

Former Reagan officials are "aghast" by his foreign policy.

Ukraine has a democratically elected government, there are Ukrainians dying in order to defend that democracy. No government is perfect but there is strong national support for that government. People there are spilling blood to align with the EU and our values, to get away from Soviet style repression and corruption - yet you continually refer to them as a "regime". Your comments fixated on corruption there - whilst they are being invaded by a dictatorship, one of the most corrupt nations in the world at present.

To dumb this right down - if Ireland were being invaded by Putin's Russia tomorrow, Irish families being slaughtered, atrocities being committed, our homes being destroyed and our land stolen - your key concern would be in mirroring Russian concern about corruption in Ireland?

That would be your chief concern?

I'm not going to unpick whatever "real truth" rabbit hole is on display here - but this position is witless stuff and directly in line with generic propaganda coming straight out of the Kremlin.

Edit: Only see the mod message now

I wonder why Ukraine won't just agree to peace......

It must be exhausting for some of these people in Russia having to come up with skuttle like this to display their “Z Credentials”.

It’s also pretty much the entirety of Solovyov’s TV show, where he and his guests spend the runtime trying to “out-Z” each-other with proclamations of Ukrainian or European destruction. God help you if you are one of his guests who even hints at reality.

"Trump is about as reliable as a paper condom"

I think he has been remarkably consistent in his actions (he is all over the place with his words but that applies to every topic) i.e. he has done nothing to help Ukraine. That is not going to change unless for some reason things change politically at home that he needs the interventionist faction of party. Right now he has complete control over party and congress and he is not going to help Ukraine.

The only way Trump and come on side is with a carrot in much the same way Vietnam got a better tariff deal and Trump got to develop a 550 hectare gold development.

This is the most openly corrupt administration in history; pleas, decency, diplomacy won't get you anywhere. That's likely part of the game that Putin is playing

This is one hell of a clown show and caused totally by the US side. Imagine there being confusion and serious doubts about Trump's peace plan and nobody even in America too sure about whether it was written by Trump or Putin.

Putin's cronies have devised a money scam to scam apartment and home buyers out of money.

The scam was brought into law by Larisa Dolina (Putin's election confidant) and the judiciary. People buy apartments from developers or home owners. The developers or home owners say they were coerced into selling by the buyer. The courts then take possession of the property leaving the buyers on the street and the money with the sellers. 3000 buyers in Russia have now been conned by the kremlin.

"In January of this year, the transaction was made at a Sberbank branch. The seller received the money through the DomClick secure payment system. On the day of receiving the keys, the seller announced that he allegedly transferred the money to scammers and filed a police report. No, of course, I was alarmed. I sought legal advice. The lawyers reviewed the documents and said that there was nothing to worry about and that I could use the apartment in full. I planned to do renovations and move in with my child after the consultation. Of course, I will do so. I started making renovations, but 10 months later, in October of this year, I received a subpoena. I learned that the seller wanted to invalidate the transaction, relying on Article 177. He was allegedly in a state of complete health. He was delusional, a little aware of his actions, period. There really is nothing at all."

    I'm just catching up, ...

So Trump's and the USA 28 point peace plan, that Russia did not see before it was released, was in fact the plan written by the Russians themselves.....in the first place🤨

Maybe Russia are denying seeing it , because they're embarrassed themselves the trump published it without even looking at it or changing anything...😳 They thought they were the stupid ones, but forgot about Trump

Some Republicans opposing the Trump plan. Rep.Bryan Fitzpatrick pushing a discharge petition to force a vote on more sanctions on Russia. It has 119 signatures so far

For the benefit of those who suggest giving up land to putin's terrorist state is a way to save Ukrainian lives here is a screenshot from a video that is claimed to show ongoing military conscription of Ukrainians in territories occupied by putin's terrorists.

On a more positive note it has been reported that a power plant near Moscow has mysteriously caught fire.

According to Ukrainian media charges of embezzlement have been prepared by the anti corruption Bureau NABU against Rustem Umerov. Currently he is heading negotiations today in Geneva with the Americans.

    https://censor.net/en/news/3586486/nabu-will-hand-over-the-suspect-to-umerov-honcharenko-says-it-has-already-been-prepared

Also it sounds like some compromises may be possible after talks over the last few weeks according to US media

EDIT - Umerov has denied the WAPO article.

Really trying to big up the new “Istanbul” aren’t we Bricky? Gotta get as much mileage out of it before it evaporates I guess….

Since you are so very willing to provide to the Russians this kindness, perhaps you can explain to all here why it is ok from them to bomb Ukrainian children in their beds and yet somehow still be treated as reasonable actors?

Care to offer a neutral reason for that?

Russia dropping yellow phosphorous in Molniya drones in Ukrainian trenches. A banned chemical weapon. Putins Agent Orange.

Parts of European counter-plan revealed. It would allow foreign troops in Ukraine and not rule out NATO membership.

I mean it's such an bad and one sided "deal", I think Russia might have been very interested if Ukrainian people were ready for this amount of concessions, and Ukraine's govt. just told the US + EU and their other supporters, and went to Putin/Russia with the outline directly.

They don't need the US (and Donald Trump) inserting themselves into + (trying to) direct the process.

The stuff in public that concerns the US is some very wooly "security guarantees", promises of consequences for Russia if it attacks again (that noone believes), and the US (or maybe even just Trump admin. and cronies, who knows!) expecting to be paid a cut out of EU/Ukrainian hides.
