How to top up somebody else's vodafone credit from PC or non-vodafone phone?

My nephew is on Coll, and has no network, his PAYG was due to run out on Friday. He is normally on top of these things as he goes away to rural locations a lot, but this one slipped him.

Anyway, he rang on Friday when he realised it was about to go, I went to shop and bought credit, but realised I don't know how to top up his phone from here.

I found this link, helpful, but not for me - https://www.comreg.ie/how-to-top-up-a-pay-as-you-go-mobile-phone-account-without-leaving-your-home/

I don't know his password to get into his vodafone account to use the voucher. I can't get through to support.

Is there a number like 1741 but from a non-vodafone phone that I could ring and use the voucher?

If not, is it possible to use a bank account and get the €50 voucher refunded?

    Thanks

EDIT - I should point out that I cannot get through to him at all now, his phone doesn't seem to have any signal without his credit, I have texted him the voucher number in the hope that he gets it, but it still hasn't gone through, and I have tried ringing a lot, including last night while i was hoping he may have been in a pub or somewhere with a signal.

if you have a vodafone website account yourself on vodafone.ie, you may be able to top him up from there

You don't need an account. Quick Top up on the Vodafone will take payment without logging in.

"his phone doesn't seem to have any signal without his credit"
That only happens if over 8 months since last top up

"he rang on Friday when he realised it was about to go"
Unless he rang from a different number then he must have topped up within the last month in order to have a call allowance...unless he's just using credit outside of a plan but those rates are extortionate.

    "€50 voucher"
Most of the VF PAYG plans are €20 so better to only top up by the plan amount as the excess credit can't be used for another month's plan, it can only be used for add ons or at out of plan rates which are ridiculously high.

If you have AIB, you can do it through their app too.

Thanks everyone, was able to get it mostly sorted om the Monday after by going into the store and asking a staff member to help me.

He was on Coll (an island off Scotland) and apparently the signal there isn't great anyway. He claims to have told me that they were going to another island across from them for those two nights. It was the storm/stormy here so I am happy that I didn't know that.

But apparently that had something to do with not being able to contact him, and probably had his phone off (I bet). He was in Spain, and then to Sweden, over to Scotland. I got him €50 for data. I keep meaning to look into plans for him when he comes back that he can use when travelling for data. He is not due back until mid December now, he is currently in Norway or on the way.

Thanks, I will keep in mind about the €20 and he can usually do it himself, I will still get the odd call or text "Any chance you could revolut me some money" Because he seems to meet people 🙄 and spend through. But I 'often' get it back.

I think, but i am not 100% sure about this, he has a portable router called a cudey and he can add or share his credit into that to use as internet on his laptop and other devices. Or he used to anyway.
