    Hi

How are you? I was driving along the motorway and I put on wiper's when ir started to rain. The driver side wiper went past the normal position and hit the side of window. I checked the wiper and there was play on the wiper lower section and I couldn't lift it up to check it, it was caught in the bonnet. Is it broken is my question?

I had the same issue on a different car before. Adjusting/tightening the wiper arm would solve it temporarily. Changing the wiper blade to a slightly smaller size did solve it but realistically the issue was still there underlying. Cheap fix tho.

Needs a wiper regulator, pivots are worn. Not terribly expensive & easy fitted. Get it done before it breaks the blade off.

The mechanic reset the wiper arm. There is different settings at bolt of wiper is connected to the motor. Fixed now.
