Old HKC problem

    Trying to resolve a problem for my elderly parents. They have an old HKC installed in 2009, steel main panel in attic, possible 610 or 812??? Yesterday the internal sounder went off on its own for no reason and stopped again after about 10mins. All the while the alarm keypad was functioning normally, no warning lights or messages and alarm would set and unset as normal. This has not happened since. What could it be- a new back up battery or something else? They’re worried about it happening again.
