I know but it is nice

My go to beer in England . It is a pity it's not more available in pubs in Ireland Temple Bar is the only place I've seen it on tap . It would put Smithwicks out of business

I knocked over a full glass of red wine on my carpet . I'll look at it tomorrow 😡

I’m pricing up new ovens, I noticed one oven…€489.99 reduced to €479.99…

So a grand total of a 2.08% reduction.. Are management in this company such gigantic gimps that they think someone is just gonna make a trip to buy it because they’ve knocked a tenner off something originally priced at €489.99 ? …whoever decides that can’t be very well 👀😵‍💫

I made an account to buy from an online retailer, they sent me a welcome 30% off your first order voucher. Great I thinks, then I read the small print - not valid for items on sale. Nearly everything was on sale including the thing I wanted. Voucher could not be used.

I watch the Bake Off on the Channel 4 player usually a day or two after it airs. Last night was the final. I unfollowed all of the social media accounts to avoid spoilers as one year the final was ruined for me when I accidentally saw who won before I'd watched it. My TA is that while browsing Facebook this morning a post from Paul Hollywood who I do NOT follow was in my feed congratulating the winner. TA'd and raging

Maybe this is more than trivial but Bohemians new stadium costing €63 million of tax payers money when it won't be able to host European group stage games, only has a capacity of 6k.It's an incredibly unambitious design and incredibly poor value for money in my opinion.

Incredibly inefficient use of money .They should have bought a greenfield/brownfield site on the northside and developed a proper stadium and got bohs and shels to share it and use the existing sites to either build housing or turn them into community football pitches for the local community.

Someone on Newstalk earlier today claiming Ireland is a police state.

Would a police state really provide a phone-in show where you could make such claims?

100%, should have got the fuk outta there. All this home of Irish football sentimental BS..stadium blocked in on all sides by residential or retail properties and the design at least on paper is distinctly average looking.. An absolute mess of a club spending that amount of taxpayers cash on a ‘stadium’ upgrade just to have a capacity significantly smaller than Hill 16..nutsville 😵‍💫👌👏🏼

TA here, stepped on my USB cable for my phone and broke it…… have a spares but seriously that’s the second in a few months….🤦🏻‍♂️

When my work colleague gets out her big glass of water and puts into into smaller glass at her desk.

The noise just goes through me way she pours it

And then eats small bits throughout the day from tiny lunch box and scrapes the fork to get it all out.

Im not sure if its just fact she does **** all throughout the day, I have a phobia or I am just plain weird. Maybe all 3.

My boss decided that I should do some pointless IT courses. Yesterday, I learned how to move files around in a much longer and more convoluted way than normal and how to use GitHub to track changes on documents I will never write so long as I don't upload anything as that feature doesn't work.

I've dug in a refused to continue this. It's such a pathetic waste of time.

Decided to make myself a nice steak for lunch. Got what looked like a nice sirloin in Aldi yesterday…

Turns out is pretty much pure sinew with a thin covering of meat 😬 I'm pretty tolerant, but that was completely inedible!

I've got my recipe for home made wedges nailed down though, so it's not a complete loss. Neither were the asparagus tips pan fried in garlic-infused olive oil… 😋

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Crows hammering on the roof. Sometimes sounds as if they're trying to dig something to eat out of the moss, one time I looked up I thought the crow was using the hard surface to try to crack open a snail.

Sirloins are a con. Striploins are much tastier.

TA 1: My GAMDIAS USB keyboard gave up the ghost after 6 years of faithful service some keys don't register anymore.

TA 2: Found a pair of runners I had'nt used for years, they seemed fine although the laces were in bits: Went out and bought pair of laces for € 5 ( well, still 5 euro )

A fortnight later, found the sole of one of the runners cracked and holed - decaying material

    I believe 2 TA's earn me a Pity Party!

It is a trivial embarrassment really. When you find an old item of clothing that you used to love and ask yourself - did I really used to wear THAT in public?
