    Prices..

Personally we think they got it bang on this year.and 100% would be now added to our annual list. But with the back of house uncertainty there's a catch22 that would hold us back going in early on this which at the same time reinforces that uncertainty... argh.

It's not like with Stendhal for us that's always a no brainer mad bargin for the loyalty earlybirds at around 110pp. BTP is a bit different - still on stabilisers and almost double the price at 209.…

    Thoughts?

wouldn’t risk early birds. The price increase not worth especially if it’s goes belly up or can’t book a solid line up and you can’t resell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 124 ✭✭RangerToby

Yeah see thatd the dilemma, no recourse but do want to support it and help solidify it. Shame but it's not a sure enough thing to bet on at that price point....

Still, hope things progress and we'll look in again come Xmas.

Single Early bird price = 218.95 incl booking fee.

Group of four = 825.50 (206.37 per person) incl booking fee

Unusually for a festival of this nature they are charging for kids (u 12 = 43.24 inc booking fee, u18 = 53.24). must be accompanied by adult over 25

Wow that's a turn-around on their over 21s policy, even though I knew heaps of teenagers at it. Pressure will be on us next year to "officially" bring the 15 and 17 year old with us. Got away with it this year 😆

Following in the steps of Kaleidoscope and Forest Fest. Pros & cons to having the teenagers around as outlined on the BTP 2025 board.

event fuel the new owners have said they are willing to invest €1.8m for 2026. Their own cash flow projection has the 2026 edition costing €3.7m to put on. So that a €2m hole that is dependent on ticket sales and sponsorships to fill.

I’m sure they will try to book a 2026 line up, now whether they can book anyone decent after burning artists/agents and suppliers for over €2m is the major question.

they need some massive names to drive ticket sales.

Had been talking about this with the muisses while were gearing up for trip to Beautiful Days in a few weeks…. We're willing to get on it once the slush fund is topped back up come autumn… Prob initially just grab the campervan ticket when funds allow and see how things pan out towards winter with announcements.

This is the only other festival from the same weekend so far who've announced, perhaps BKS headliners might be too big for BTP.

Yeah very unlikely any of those headliners for BTP. Far too expensive and BTP tends to be very electronic/dance oriented

Job Jobse and Getdown Services would fit. I'm thinking someone like Overmono and Sudan Archives too. I'd love to see them book The Beta Band too (who are playing TRNSMT the following weekend).

Nordic Giants would be a great fit for BTP. Particually in the tent early evening. They just launched the new album pledge tonight.
