Didnt think my calculations would cause such outrage! But seriously, I was just saying EP + ATN costt me around 485 (I think) , GM ticket(360) and flight(100) would be similar enough.

I'd love to go to GM, but its fairly steep that's all!

Ah no, you're right of course, there's more involved in an overseas festival. I made the jump for the music and certainly haven't regretted it. But yeah, it's not cheap.

    Snarky Snark Snark

if you discount EP loyalty ticket pricing then that skews the value proposition esp if you chuck the price of pink moons cheapest offering into the pot (cos not every one wants to camp in Mogadishu) and I think it’s a little disingenuous focusing only on the cheapest ticket offering as the cost of it.

There are always other costs with festivals, you’ve still got to factor transport, tent, food etc for weekend.

The only real difference are flights, transport and accommodation saving

Have seen WITCH, A Place To Bury Strangers, Minami Deutsch, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, Gum Takes Tooth and Servo before. Would very much like to see Causa Sui, Firefriend and Kombynat Robotron.

    I'm a Rock n Roll Amputation
