Seems "the most moral army in the world" is ignoring orders

"At least 41 attacks on Palestinians by Israeli settlers have been documented in the West Bank since the olive harvest season began earlier this month.

Yesh Din, an NGO that compiles testimonies and evidence of settler violence, claims that this list is partial.

Attacks often are carried out in front of soldiers, who ignore them.

The soldiers standing by are violating an order signed by the head of the Civil Administration, Brig. Gen. Hisham Ibrahim, sent in early September.

According to the order, military forces should 'allow access to plot owners, including people who are coming in on his behalf (Israelis or Palestinians), to protect them from aggression and to act against criminal elements that seek to prevent this'"

I'm surprised there are no posts about this - perhaps there's a lot of celebrations going on and there's no time to post the unbridled joy. But it may be short lived if the UAE response is anything to go by.

Certainly, that Likud Charter is getting closer and closer to reality.

In a preliminary vote, the Knesset approved a bill to apply Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank. The vote, which will have to pass three further rounds of votes in the Knesset before becoming law, passed with 25 MKs in support and 24 against.

Anwar Gargash, a diplomatic adviser to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed, told Reuters that any annexation of Palestinian territories would be considered a "red line" by Abu Dhabi.

What could there possibly be to hide I wonder? Perhaps they read "The Black Time" article where the slaughter of their own citizens is documented.

The Knesset's State Control Committee voted down a proposal to establish a state commission of inquiry into October 7.

What is the reason for not waiting a commission to inquiry into the events of October 7th.
I suspect it will come eventually.

If a commission would establish the truth, who could possibly vote for the truth to remain hidden?

Are you saying Germany cannot afford 20 children for medical treatment and their guardians? Israel may not allow them return to Gaza as ethnic cleansing is a one-way direction but Germany could negotiate that with the Israeli government. Hard times economically for Germany?

Palestinians are forced to bury 54 persons that they could not identify. This is the year 2025. This tells a lot about how inhuman Israel is.

Palestinians in Gaza have prayed at a mass funeral for 54 people previously held in Israeli detention and returned under the ceasefire deal.

The bodies were so badly mutilated that health officials could not identify the deceased.

Some kind of good news despite the Israeli blockage on the entry of aid trucks.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Tuesday that it is expanding its humanitarian operations in Gaza City.

The agency said it is “expanding operations in Gaza City, resuming health services, emergency shelters, water distribution, and solid waste removal, while clearance of explosive ordnance remains critical to ensure civilian safety.”

In a post on X, UNRWA stated that around 6,000 aid trucks are waiting at Gaza’s crossings. These trucks carry food supplies sufficient for Gaza’s population for six months, along with hundreds of thousands of tents and shelter materials urgently needed as winter approaches.

The agency confirmed that the Israeli authorities continue to prevent the entry of this aid.

I'd expect Israel to make up some excuse to prevent this happening.

There can be no justification for something like that.

Israel wants no witnesses to its West Bank atrocities.

Israel ordered the deportation of 32 foreign activists on Wednesday for supporting olive-harvesting Palestinians against attacks from illegal settlers in the occupied West Bank.

Never mind Starmer. Some posters on this thread need to apologise for blatant islamaphobia.

New film to come out on Dec 1st based on events that took place around the Nakba, the murder and expulsion of Palestinians when Israel was given land there.

It’s supposed to be a red line for the US and even Trump. Given how weak Trump is when confronted with organized opposition, I’d be worried for Gaza. Trump will be facing serious resistance from the Israel Lobby.

The olympic committee blocks Indonesia's bid for the Olympics after they refused visas for Israeli gymnasts to participate in a competition. Hard to believe South Africa was outright banned totally for 30 years for doing the same apartheid things.

How many dead Palestinians has Israel got? Do they murder them and bring them back to Israel for future trading deals - like Hamas did?

Haaretz also reported that the Israeli army has been holding about 1,500 bodies of Palestinians from Gaza at the notorious Sde Teiman military base in southern Israel.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, brokered through regional and international mediation, took effect on Oct. 10. Phase one of the truce included the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and a partial Israeli withdrawal. The plan also envisages the rebuilding of Gaza and the establishment of a new governing mechanism without Hamas.

Since October 2023, the Israeli genocidal war has killed over 68,200 people and injured more than 170,300, according to the Health Ministry.

Israel’s Supreme Court is set to hear on Thursday a petition filed by an organization representing international media outlets in Israel and the Palestinian territories, demanding independent access for journalists to Gaza.

Since the Gaza war began in October 2023, Israeli authorities have prevented foreign journalists from entering the devastated territory, taking only a handful of reporters inside on tightly controlled visits alongside its troops.

China proposes three-point proposal for resolution of Palestine conflict.

    https://english.pnn.ps/news/46123

Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward a three-point proposal for the settlement of the Palestinian question during his talks with visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Beijing on Wednesday.

Xi stressed that the Palestinian question has remained unresolved for over half a century, causing great sufferings to the Palestinian people; justice must be done to Palestine as soon as possible.

First, the fundamental solution lies in the establishment of an independent state of Palestine that enjoys full sovereignty on the basis of the 1967 borders and with east Jerusalem as its capital, he said.

Second, Palestine's economic and livelihood needs should be met, and the international community needs to step up development assistance and humanitarian aid to Palestine, he said.

Third, it is important to keep to the right direction of peace talks. The historical status quo of the holy sites in Jerusalem should be respected, and excessive and provocative words and actions should be avoided. A large-scale, more authoritative and more influential international peace conference should be convened so as to create conditions for the resumption of peace talks and contribute tangible efforts to help Palestine and Israel live in peace, he said.

"China stands ready to play a positive role to assist Palestine in achieving internal reconciliation and promote peace talks," Xi said.

Should put it to a vote at the UN, most would support it.

ICJ has ruled that Israel was able to provide sufficient evidence that UNRWA was infiltrated by Hamas. Which of course means.

The ICJ is infiltrated by Hamas!!!

Why do you think the fact that Hamas can't have a definitive military win doesn't mean they couldn't, for example, trigger mass population displacements? In fact they already have.

Or maybe you mean that Israel should just suck that up?

Tragically, this does seem to be the belief of the western anti Israel protesters. What has, for instance, Greta Thunberg said about the fact that the hospitals in Gaza are being used by Hamas to interrogate (ie torture) hundreds or maybe thousands of Gazans since the ceasefire?

It really seems like they only cared about having a reason for attacking Israel, not about Gazans at all.

So there is no freedom of movement for anyone who is visibly Jewish then, is that it?

Yet again you try to twist it to suit your own antisemitic narrative.

You're certainly consistent in your bad faith posting.

Nobody has explained why it's anything but anti-semitic to find the Star of David objectionable. I mean, unless nobody else was allowed to approach the protest and even make their feelings known to them. Which would raise other questions about who is entitled to have opinions in public nowadays.
