Citywest protests, Garda van on fire **Mod Warning in OP**

    Protest ongoing outside the IPAS facility at Citywest hotel, Gardai in riot gear holding the line at the entrance off the road, fireworks going off, Red line Luas services stopped to the area, Garda van on fire, some young lad on horseback charged the guards... and it's early yet

    Mod: We all know the reason for this protest and it's understandable that people are angry and upset at what happened. However, Boards Terms of Use does not permit discussion of any matters before the courts and that applies here. Odhran is the only one who can change this rule.

    You can discuss the protests, and obviously immigration will be a part of that discussion, but please do not discuss the case that was the catalyst for this.
