    So many thundery downpours in Dublin city, without actual thunder. Still there is a hint of blue sky somewhere in the distance so might clear away yet. Definitely making up for the recent calm spell 😕

    My idea of what a "thundery shower" or "thundery rain" is clearly different to what some others think. I'd describe "thundery rain" as heavy rain with only one or two cracks or rumbles of thunder. But if there is a lot more thunder and it's more frequent, then I'd call it a thunderstorm.

    Back on topic, it's been a nice day in rural Longford.

    Sun was out earlier here in carrick and there still is abit of strength in that sun 🌞, made a difference to the 2 weeks of cloud we had

    Wet morning so far. Rain for month 130mm now almost 100mm more than some parts of the East . And there was 11 or 12 dry days in a row too. Weird month.

    Rain warning issued , east Galway, roscommon and Longford, why can't we have warnings by area and impact like the UK it makes so much more sense, I know carlow weather even agrees with me , met eirrean just abit stubborn
