Horrendous here in NCD since about 9pm last, howling wind and rain.

Absolutely bucketing down here still this morning.

The 3 year old is very worried about his outdoor Halloween decorations getting wet 😁

Yeah same here in Wicklow absolutely lashing it down particularly since about 3am. The southeasterly wind is also making it hit the house in a different way so it even sounds worse. It's as bad a morning as any I can remember here, the local road has a couple of areas flooded now too.

Up to 32.0mm so far in Greystones since yesterday evening with moderate rain at the moment.

Rotten day in Dublin 7. Absolutely chucking it down. The wind woke me up 3/4 times last night. On the plus side, looks like it will have cleared up by early afternoon. So I might actually get a walk in.

A clearance in Tralee this morning, it's actually bright and sunny.🙂 Very welcome after yesterday's day long muck. Not sure how much of the day we'll get but we'll get out and make the most while it lasts.

I can see clearly now the rain has gone.

First day we've seen a sunny morning with blue skies here in Limerick since Oct. 5th.

Two weeks of solid overcast. An unusual event even for a country given to so much cloudy weather.

Waiting for the rain to stop, North Wicklow, so I can take the dog for a walk. We both need our walkies. 😁

Just cleared here in Longford and sun now out. It was a truly horrible morning.

Trying its hardest to clear up a bit in Dublin 9. Rain has eased off, wind has died down and you can actually see the planes taking off now where this morning they were straight into the cloud.

On another plus side it's quite mild!

Sun's out now in Greystones. 16.0c atm. 36.0mm since midnight. 38.4mm since rain started yesterday evening.

I'd well believe the colours on the map @.Donegal. Thought it might not stop in Meath. Further we cycled North on the Greenway in Navan at 12oc wetter it was still getting. What values are those recorded in - thanks.

Actual warm sunshine has now appeared Navan. 14⁰

It’s in mm. Plenty of good stats on it, you can go back to a specific date etc as well.

It was 16.5C and sunny in Longford - actually sat out in the garden for a while.

Left Abbeyfeale this morning in beautiful sunshine (unusual!) and was lucky enough that it followed me to Arklow. Lovely sunny walk by the sea this evening.

It did clear up in end here in Dublin, but not before fair bit of flooding on local roads around Portmarnock.

Looks like more rain again tomorrow and wet week ahead, we always pay in Ireland when we get a dry spell!

I'd say we got close to 30mm in North Dublin anyway.

Sounded like tropical downpours for half the night in D3 last night. Just started hammering down again. Revenge for the lovely calm period.

Awful day in Dublin 8…lashing down

another horrible dark and wet day in Meath, this time easterly with plenty of showers but it's only mid October so relatively mild.

No fear of the useless councils in Dublin cleaning up the leaves, far too busy spending obscene amounts of money on bicycle lanes (and I cycle) and removing filter left turns. The amount of leaves on the the cycle lane/walkway from Ballsbridge to Ringsend is ridiculous, and a hazard for pedestrians and cyclists alike especially when they are so wet

Been in Kildare, Dublin and Wicklow and there's been some heavy heavy rain. Making up for the dry spell we've had.

Seems Dublin is centre of a slow moving Low, resulting with a continious stream of heavy showers. Awful day

Yep those lovely crisp leaves that were great fun have now turned into a serious health hazard in Dublin anyway.

The weather has a way of humbling us in this country. Was only out in that down pour for 5 minutes and I’m soaked to the skin, it could get dangerous
