Hey didn't I show you who funded it? That was a legitimate post from the Israeli foreign ministry on twitter, check it out. They found documents in Gaza showing all of the people on the flotilla are in Hamas, and George Galloway and some elderly Hamas representative are actually the same person. Nobody ever copped it - that is the mystical power of Hamas. I'm not even joking, follow the link.

Really? Id've thought it was the 2000lb bombs, Merkava battle tanks, fighter jets and attack helicopters.

Your post is as astonishing as it is naive.

I see you're doing what you do in terms of discourse and discussion.

    Nothing.

Ok last post on this as it’s getting ridiculous, verging on troll levels now.

You called her uneducated, you questioned the validity of her education when it was pointed out that you were wrong about that.

You claimed her parents were raking it in, that they were jobless, that they were living off her and it’s disgusting, that they are using her, that they don’t have 2 cents to rub together.

You called her a spoilt brat and a pawn.

You replied “You’d have to asked her parents.” to a poster who had stated “can you show me one example when she’s not been sincere…working under false pretences….lying about her motives”.

Have I missed anything out? Nothing above I have been dishonest about.

All normal behaviour towards someone you “feel sorry for”.

Lastly, you didn’t reply to a poster, you tagged them in post, not a reply, demanding an apology on a public forum. As I have said if you wanted a private conversation you could have dm’d them.

Go away! That is some dark magic.

You should call Israel and tell them not to waste their bullets and missiles, and to lift the blockade of food.

All these people are dying and starving to death somehow because hostages are being held.

Apologies to every one else for the nonsense that's gone on derailing this thread.

    don't think you're the one that's responsible…

We've seen these tactics so many times now - it's laughable.

Powerful piece from the mother of a hostage.

Israel abandoned the hostages and their families over a year ago.

"While the government refused to hear my cry and closed its doors to me, ordinary Israelis heard. They embraced me. They saw my pain…

Both of us had our innocence snatched away on October 7. I would do anything for you, my Matan, but to my sorrow, I will never be able to restore the simple, innocent lives we once led. And that tears me apart.

I have fought with all my might so that you would hear and see me fighting for you from afar. I couldn't bear the thought that you might wonder whether I had given up on you.

A mother can never give up on her child. I will never give up on you.

The price we paid has been high. They incited against us, called us horrible names and attacked us in the streets. But I hugged your sisters and told them, 'Matan wouldn't have given up on us; we aren't giving up on him.

We'll keep fighting, and we won't let anyone intimidate us.'"

Einav Zangauker, mother of hostage Matan

Proof that alleged War Criminal #1 (at large) couldn't care less about the hostages:

    • Netanyahu misstated the number of hostages in Gaza in an interview with U.S. right-wing pundit Ben Shapiro, saying there were "40 … 46 actually," prompting the Hostages and Missing Families Forum to demand a correction and insist "all 48" must come home.

I did not. I believe i called her under educated, for what she claims. I blame her parents.

    Everyone seems to think she's a genius. She's not. She's a kid. She's a commodity.

The most important thing is to stop starvation and genocide. Not get at me with your tip tok views.

    @Timberrrrrrrr where are you?

Apparently, a nation that does this isn't evil. It's just pure bad luck and misfortune.

    • The Gaza Health Ministry described a "total and deliberate collapse" of the medical system, reporting that 460 people, mostly children, have so far died of starvation and about 51,000 children under five suffer severe malnutrition. Of 38 hospitals, 25 are no longer operational and the remainder function under "catastrophic conditions," amid acute shortages of medicines and supplies, the ministry said.

Are you kidding me? No education and asperges (absolutely no issue with that).

Retired Israeli Major General Yitzhak Brick warned that Israel has reached a “point of no return” in its war on the Gaza Strip, saying the army has exhausted its strength without breaking the Palestinian resistance.

In remarks published by the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv, Brick said Israel has failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives nearly two years into the war. He accused both the political and military leadership of misleading the public with “media propaganda” about imminent victory.

“The Israeli army has exhausted its energy without being able to break the back of the Palestinian resistance,” Brick said. “The leadership is deceiving the public by claiming that a decisive victory is near, while in reality, Israel is mired in a prolonged war of attrition that threatens internal collapse.”

Interesting article on claims against head of ICC. The article may take a few readings to figure out whether it is saying there was collusion against Karim Khan.

    https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/new-yorker-sex-claims-karim-khan-derailed-ICC-israel-probe

The New Yorker piece also reports for the first time that the woman accusing Khan of sexual misconduct, an ICC staff member, "had argued internally that he should move more slowly in making charges against Israeli leaders, and not rush to publicise high-level warrants".

She denied any link between her complaint against Khan and the prosecutor's investigation into Israel, and said she was not affiliated with, or acting on behalf of, any state or external actor.

Hamas insisting on an end to the war and Israeli withdrawal from Gaza must coincide with release of hostages. This is an honest position as Israel cannot gain land from their genocide.

Hamas has reiterated that any agreement emerging from the ongoing talks in Sharm El-Sheikh must guarantee a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

A leading Hamas source told Al-Jazeera that the movement’s delegation demanded linking the stages of the release of Israeli prisoners to the stages of a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. The source said the delegation emphasized that the release of the last prisoner must coincide with the final withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip. He also emphasized the need to obtain international guarantees for a final ceasefire and a full withdrawal of Israeli forces.

Greta is an adult now, and is objectively an extremely impressive, brave and charismatic young woman.

Who gives a shite about what her parents do or what school she went to.

Charlie Kirk dropped out of college, does that make him less influential or diminish his accomplishments as a political campaigner?

Trump and GW Bush both graduated university because of serious string pulling (Trump's brother pulled in favours with the admissions dept of Wharton, and Mary Trump accused him of paying some guy to do his final projects and exams for him (and Trump sued to prevent the release of those academic records)

GW Bush only got into Yale on 'Legacy' admission (you get to overtake better qualified candidates because your father and grandfather went there and donated lots of money to the university)

This magnifying glass pointed at Greta to discredit her is great, lets put everything out in the open. Do you also think other (much more powerful) political figures should face similar scrutiny?

    Ban billionaires

So Hamas terrorists who started this conflict two years ago by butchering many hundreds of Israelis are trying to dictate the peace plan… Can’t see any peace anytime soon if this is the Gaza-Palestinian position.

My original question "Do you condemn the call: From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free" seemed to be pretty straightforward. I would not have thought there to be any particular barriers to a simple, maybe even one word answer. E.g. yes or no.

Yet here we are, with yet more whataboutery to deflect from a very simple question.

The conflict did not start on October 7th. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed by the Israelis during 2023 (it was a very bloody year). The October 7th attacks could best be described as a dramatic escalation of the conflict.

Says the person who wouldnt answer a straight question put to them multiple times throughout this thread AND avoided answering those questions multiple times.

Then disappeared for days ( a bit like @sheepysheep ) until the thread moved on pages.

I can't help it if the thread grows by 5+ pages a day. But hey anything to avoid answering a simple question.

Because AFAIK, I've not had a straight answer on this from ANY of Israel's detractors.

incorrect, people in gaza have been dieing because they have been slaughtered, and aid in all forms has been prevented from entering the territory.
this was nothing to do with hamas but religious dogma.
the hostages could have been released almost 2 years ago and there were other opportunities since but israel said no, as israel don't want the hostages released and don't care about them.
israel also killed 3 hostages that we know of and likely are responsible for the deaths of more.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

Well if that carry on is "peaceful" in your eyes it suddenly makes a lot of sense why you cheer for that lot.

You been asked multiple questions on points you have posted for well over a year. You refused to answer them then, and still refuse now.

It's a bit rich of you accusing others of not answering your questions.

So, let's see if this works:

@SeanW - do you condemn the Likud party line that states "between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty"?

It is not whataboutery though. It is completely relevant to what is being discussed. How can you be so offended at that rhetoric coming from one side, but be totally oblivious to the same from the other? it is arguing in complete bad faith. And I guess you know that, which is why you appear, spout the usual nonsense and then disappear for days, then resurface to rinse and repeat.

I think many of you pro genocide posters are so far in, that you cannot countenance doing a U turn and you just keep repeating the same mantras over and over. Some day you are going to have to reconcile yourself with the fact you have been on here shilling for a regime that has killed an unknown number of innocent civilians, into the tens of thousands.

The rest of us can call out what Hamas did on October 7th as utterly, utterly reprehensible. I have no skin in this game. But I do have two innocent kids at home, and the thought that they, by no fault of their own, could have ended up being born in a warzone, having limbs blown off…

As one other poster a couple of days ago pointed out (I think it was miniegg), you people whinging about chants of "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" as if it is some kind of justification for the destruction and barbarity is just off the wall. You are upset by words and chants about destruction and ethnic cleansing, while excusing actual destruction, war crimes and genocide which is ongoing. You are more upset by those chants than by dead children, really?

Have you thought for one minute why Palestinians might actually chant something like that? Why they may be so anti Israel? If you are a child growing up who have lost parents to Israeli bombs, lost siblings to a snipers bullet? None of this started on October 7th, as you are well aware too.

Its unbelievable you are unable to accept any of this. And I mean unbelievable. You people can no longer be arguing honestly…
